V CAST music

Hey, I was thinking about getting this phone with Verizon, with the main reason being V CAST music. I believe that you cant transfer MP 3s onto the phone, but

can you transfer songs bought on iTunes from iTunes to the a930?

thanks and please reply

How long can you record ringers?

how many?

Jun 1, 2006, 8:38 AM

Woot! It costs less than expected! Only 150$ or 50$ with 2/yr

Not bad at all, it was originally thought to be around 250$ but its only 150$ and with a 2 year contract its only 50$! Not bad at all. It's online as well now.

I will be heading to my local Verizon to pick one up today... after a lovely dentist appointment Confused

Get it for free

for all you hardcore people out there that are dying to get this phone, if you see above where it says Info, Reviews, Shop, Forum... click on Shop and you can purchase the phone for free. they'll give you a full rebate of the phone. however you have to wait 4 months to get the $150 check back plus you may have to get the $60 play per month (but i think you can change it eventually).

Last thing: this offer ENDS TODAY (5/30/06)!!!

Those having The Phone A Few Weeks:

Just wondering if many of you who have had the phone 2 to 3 weeks are just as much enamored with it now as you first were?

Please don't respond unless you have had the phone a few weeks (therefore, by now you have seen the good and the bad):

1) Are the ring tones adequate and loud?

2) Is the earpiece volume sufficient (some reported it was muffled and not loude enough)?

3) The Speakerphone: is it loud and clear (and do those hearing you report any problems)?

4) How is the reception (as compared to other phones you have used)?

5) Is the battery as long-lasting as it should be?

Finally, what are the best three things you like as well as the three worst?

Email Ringtones To Phone???

Anyone figure out how to get your own ringtones to work on this phone yet? I'm able to save as a .mid file and email them to the phone It plays but it's saved on the phone as a ".qcp" file (whatever that is)and won't give me the option of setting as a ringtone. There has to be a way, right? Playing $3 for a ringtone is absolutely rediculous as far as I'm concerned especailly given the fact that it's money flushed down the toilet if you switch phones (due to loss, being defective, upgrade) or delete that application you downloaded the ringtone with. IT'S AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!!

Why couldn't Verizon just release their version of the BLADE (Sprint MM-A900) with the addition of TransFlash..seems close enough to this phone

It's official - June 1st is a930 wide release...

That's right, June first will be the wide launch throughout Verizon for the a930.

The verizon people at my Circuit City store got an email today which they showed me stating that they would be selling the a930 on that date.

The great thing about this for me; and im sure many others, is that we will actually be able to buy accessories now! Yes...I will get my belt clip!!!

Just thought you guys would like to know...

verizon put the 930 on the equipment guide page internally for employee's. release date is listed as june 1st but as always that's tentative. price is listed as 149.99 with 2yrct, 199.99 with 1yrct, and 269.99 full retail. no work on mail in rebates. it will have vz navigator thought i'm not sure it will be available at initial launch. the only other interesting things in the launch material are the mention of bluetooth dun and serial port being enabled. this is direct from verizon not samsung so i tent to believe it. keep in mind that pricing and release date are subject to change and i have even seen feature listed incorrectly in launch packages but this is as close to accurate as anyone can give you. hope this answers some questions for p...
