Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r

Hi all I currenly have the L7 and am thinking about upgrading to the V3i b/c i really love the slim ness and iTunes but was wondering if it would really be worth it? It would probably cost me 250 and idk if it's be worth it.

So it's up on T mobile, and this version apparently has edge.

After throwing my original Razr into a wall.. (unrelated to this thread)

I got a new Razr V3i + iTunes from Cingular (my previous carrier).

Firstly, I love this phone. My problem is that I cannot send multimedia messages. Text messages are fine, but when I insert a picture or anything multimedia related, it never shows up.

on the phone with cingular tech support:
-Tried sending a mm msg to my phone from my phone.
>>Nothing. (its been over 26 hours now too)
-Tried sending a txt msg to my phone from my phone.
>>Instant delivery.
-Tried sending a mm msg to my email from my phone.
>>Nothing.
-Tried sending a txt msg to my email from my phone.
>>Instant delivery.
-Cingular tech sends a browser msg to my phone.
>>Received.

:'(, I think myne broke, I know that someone was fiddling with my V3i, and I think he was trying to crack the screen off of the body of the phone, but i figured he didnt do anything... Then 2 hrs later, i opened the fone the first time after this kid touched it. It wouldnt turn on, then randomly it turned on a few minutes later, I went into the menu, then I went up or down, (cant remember) and the phone showed the turning off screen... This phone KEEPS DOING THIS!!!!!!! .. and the End/Power Button isnt working!!!!!, The phone turing off varies, its about 50/50% of the time.

I have a Motorola V3, (the old one, not v3i or v3x) and I've been trying to install a java application on it. Since the phone has Java, I figured it should be perfectly capable of running this app: http://www.languagebug.com/kanji_q/index.htm
(it's a tool for learning japanese characters, nevermind that) The problem is, how to get it there? I don't want to use wap, cause it's expensive. So I've downloaded the files to my pc, connected the phone via usb, and this is where the problems begin. The only things the desperately BFU-oriented Mobile Tools allows me to transfer is media - pictures, sounds, video. No trace of 'install application' functionality, heck it won't even let me copy the files. I can get around this by changing the f...

I've seen on the motorola page that it supports 1 GB and on cingular its support up to 512. Which one is it? Its confusing. Some sites say that it even support up to 2Gb 😲

I got mine for $0 locally (SF Bay) 'cuz there's a Columbus Day sales going on. Call b4 u drive the 50 miles, they may have run out of stock.

I believe there is a new version v3e that supports EDGE(?) if ur need that sort of thing.

BTW, mine came with 512 MB microSD, surprised, and the 100 songs iTunes with the music button.

Came with wall charger, stereo wired headset, wired headset, mini-usb to 3.5mm plug adapter, usb data cable.

The Razor sucks and it will always suck no matter what new version comes out. Motorola does not fix the problems...they add more features on hoping that you will be too stupid to realise that. If you look at their track record with other phones, you will have proof. Also cruise around this site and you will read many comments in all the Phone Model Forums where people write that they have ditched their Razor for other phones because the V3, V3i.....or whatever other version they will come out with sucked......V3ding-a-ling-a-ding-dong......it 's stupid. Here, read this before you buy that stupid piece of crap!!

This is big news for the customer base since we have been waiting for an mp3 player phone for quite sometime.

I just bought an unlocked razr v3i and noticed it does not have aim preinstalled. Does anyone know where and if I can download that software onto my phone?

I have an problem with my phone not connecting with my computer. Do i have to buy the Motorola Phone Tool or does it work like just that.

I recently became a T-mobile subscriber and have an odd problem. My RAZR V3 and V3i notify me of new voicemails with text messages containing strange symbols (@, *, etc.) I don't get voicemail notification with these phones, only weird text messages. I tried a few different t-mobile SIM cards; all had the same result. Strange thing is the moto's only do this with a T-mobile SIM card inserted. If I use a Cingular SIM card I receive voicemail notification properly in both phones. How do I receive voicemail notification, rather than text messages when I receive a new voice mail? If it helps, both of my RAZR's are factory direct, unbranded, and unlocked. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking about purchasing the V3i, I already have the Slvr. I was wondering how the sound quality is on it. I have the Slvr, and the sound quality is okay not great. I know the slvr is not stereo sound quality. Is the razr the same as the slvr or better
