Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r

I have a quick question I was hoping someone could answer.

One of my coworkers had a black razr with a soft black rubber-like exterior. Like Motorola's v325. I don't know who his carrier was and I can't find the phone online anywhere.

Anyone know where I can get it?

I've been eyeing the V3i and am thinking of getting one. However, if I decide that I probably wouldn't use the iTunes or DAP feature, and if I rarely use the camera on a phone so I don't care about improved picture quality, are there other features I should take into consideration that would recommend the V3i over the V3?

Can anyone tell me how to set up my v3i browser settings to work for Cingular in the U.S.? I am in S. California.

I left my GSM Motorola v600 for the Nokia 6682-smart phone (1.3 MP/video capture/Edge, etc.) and it was awful, sold it after a month.

Have always appreciated Moto's product and want this RAZR v3i. Am curious if anyone has tried the unlocked phone with Cingular? I live in California and ebay has many of these handsome guys for about $550.

I travel a lot and often when I turn the phone back on after a flight, the phone says "invalid battery." I then have to take the battery out and put it back in. Anybody ever have this problem or know why it happens?

Does anyone have any idea what the price is gonna be when you buy this phone with a contract with cingular?! I have been waiting S0 long to get it! I need to upgrade my phone!! Thanks for any info.

Spoke with family friend that works for Cingular and he said that he heard it should be released around April/May. Said it has iTunes, upgraded memory (http://wirelessimports.com/ProductDetail.asp ?ProductID=553 says 60MB memory, not sure about this), and told me about the other various stats wirelessimports mentions. I can't wait for this phone to come out - it would be something if they pushed the release date up a little (assuming the April/May tip is legit)

I have read any where from feb. to june,...so when will it be available from cingular??

Occasionally the external screen's backlight will stay on and the only way to correct it is to power my phone on/off. One time i let it go to see if the light would ever turn off, but it drain my full battery without it ever turning off.
It's NOT happening when connected to a charger.
It usually starts when i've opened and closed the flip (when the screen is supposed to light up) and sometimes it just doesn't turn off, intermittently.
I DO have a picture, not taken from the phone's camera, as my wallpaper. It was transferred with motophonetools.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I couldn't find any thread like this, so any input would be appreciated.

Can someone explain what all this Reflash / Flexflash stuff means. What's the benefit from installing this mod?

The phone is EXCELLENT! Got it from wirelessimports.com and so far, so good except for two things: MMS and Web Browsing...CIngular won't help, Motorola won't help...

Short of selling this beautiful phone after a day, does anyone know how to enable these features? Many thanks!

My MP3 player will only hold 3 tracks.
I try do delete all the pre-loaded tracks, but they,re all locks, and can,t be deleted.
Any help on what i,m doing wrong.
And how i can fit more tracks on my music player.

2.
I try to connect to t-zones.
But when i go to download a message comes up saying.
Not A Signed Application.
Then asks me if i want to continue to download.
I continue, but it says download failed.

can you please help me if any of you know how to sort these problams out.

hi, since no one is sure when the phone is going to be out and i have to make a decision on plans by the 10th of feb (i plan to purchase a phone from cingular and sell it on ebay and get the v3i) i have just a few questions to ask of those of you who have this phone and use it on cingular.

1. is this anything like the problems encountered when people tried to use the V635 (flashing, flexing) on cingular?

2. is it hard to fix the settings so that you can send text messages and picture and video messages? (i dont use the internet on the phone so if MEdiaNet doesnt work thats not really a problem for me)

3. do you get text messages informing you of when you get a voicemail, like the v635 was doing, or is a normal pop up that says y...

I know how many of you find store reps info as believable as Bill Clinton, but I talked to a manager at a cingular store who really knew his stuff. He was very knowledgeable on everything.When I asked him about the V3i he said that it had failed testing, and that there was a very small chance it would be coming to cingular. He said if it came out it would probably be later than the previous release date of March. Meaning it would come out after the new 3G phones did, and would be obsolete, causing cingular not to launch it. Now I am not saying this is the truth but it is just what I heard, from the most knowledgeable guy I have ever talked to in a cingular store.
