Samsung SGH-T809 / SGH-D820

Does anyone know how to use a different, possibly a downloaded, tone for receiving text messages? I don't want to use one of the few choices they have give me. Please help!!! Thanks in advance

Ok, I have struggled with this for awhile and cannot find the answer. My camera displays everything in the viewfinder upside down. The only time things are right side up is when I flip the lens to face me instead of facing away from me. I press the hotkey 1 and it switches the image to right side up. But it also switches the camera mode to video. Even from here, I can't switch back to the still camera without the image being flipped again. Anyone have this problem or know a quick fix? I am pretty positive that if I go to the T-Mobile store they will be zero help.

i just found out how to use the mp3s as a ringtone but in order to do that i need the stock mp3 but i deleted them. i tried to send it from my brothers phone but it didnt work. i reset my sound settings and i couldnt get the stock mp3 tones bac. how can i use my mp3 as a ringtone now that i have lost that major step

i just got this phone two days ago and i can't seem to understand how to put the music into the phone. i inserted the cd that came with the phone into the computer and installed all the necessary programs. i connected my phone to the computer using the USB cable. i know that on the Samsung PC Studio, it needs to say connected to phone(or whatever it says) but it doesn't. i tried going to File, Connection, USB and clicking on connect but it still doesn't do it. i've read the instructions countless times,though it seems to not be very detailed when it comes to this.am i doing something wrong? is something missing? i have no idea.therefore, any help is greatly appreciated 😁

Is there a lawsuit for the dust under the screen of this phone yet? If not, there should be. (Law Firm employees must read this thread at some time).

I cannot believe how many people have resent and resent for new phones and it is not a "known issue". We are being ripped off as a whole. We need a classs action lawsuit after spending sooooo much money AND locking into longer cell contracts.

hello all, am having sound issues. after i convert a file the sound id off by a second or so. youll see something happen then the sound right after. its not horrible bad but would be a lot better if i could find out why.

I see Amazon is now down to $50 after rebates, of course that's for new customers. I talked to customer care today and the best they could offer was $199 (not sure on contract length because I told them I was not interested). They tried offering me more minutes and other stuff which I have no use for.

Interestingly enough I got my current handset 3 years ago for Amazon's discounted price at a T-Mobile hut in a mall (ironically because Amazon required me to go in for ID verification). Should I try one of the T-Mobile B&M stores, would they be able to beat out customer care???

I couldn't use the Samgung PC Suite to move the XXXXXXX.3gp to the phone!

Even though it let me rename it on my computer, When I went to MOVE to PHONE It detected something. 😈

I had to use steps 1 - 10 to get it moved to the phone to work.

SO..
1 I setup my USB to STORAGE in the Setup Menu of the phone!
2 Then with MY COMPUTER I selected the Phone's Drive Letter.
3 Find the MUSIC Folder on the Phone. This is the MEMORY CARD! NOT THE PHONE!
4 Go to your Folder on your computer where your music is. Rename ...

What is the point of this?

Perhaps I am being totally blind and I am missing this within PC Studio.

I have lots of mms messages that I want to delete.

How do i do it within PCStudio? I know how to delete regular SMS messages but PC Studio does not seems to have an option to "load" mms messages and then delete them.

I keep getting the address to view the pictures online, but I can't view them from my phone. Am I just not getting something or is this a carrier problem? I've gotten pictures from a T-mobile phone fine, so I wouldn't think it's the settings. Can anyone offer some light on the subject?

I've been hearing that with the T809, because it has Tmobile software, it may not be possible to transfer games to the phone, and launch them. This true?

just download any HIFI ringtone from T-zone
it will let u set a song as a ringtone

then u dont have to worry about downloading it again. just simply use ur mp3 files.

You know hwen you go to the sonic wellness section of the phone shouldnt it go to some form of animation when you select it? somehow its not working for me....whats goin on here? someone please help...thanks

on my computer I have wma and itunes music files (which claim they are mp4 auio) What is the best way to convert these files so I can put them on the t809? And lastly if I wanted to put a tv episode from a dvd on a flash card what is the best program to convert? Any help would be just great.
