How do i send PICs with phone?
Everytime i try to send a txt advise me need to set up outlook account why?

My wife has owned a PPC-6700 for a few months now and, whenever she receives a message with embedded Hyperlinks, they don't display on the screen when she opens the email. (As a talent agent she gets a lot of role descriptions and audition requests this way so it's important for her to have this working).

She can link successfully to a website if the sender types out the full URL – and I've been able to set the device up to send and receive attachments (mostly PDF files in her case) – but I can't get it to display Hyperlink text.

I was talking to a verizon wireless rep today and they told me that even if I use wifi to connect to the interne its still considered data transfer usage and that I will be charged a cent and a half for every kb transferred. what I don't get is before I activated this phone I was able to do this without clearly paying. if this is true then I was wandering, that if I shut the phone part of the phone while browsing the internet through wifi then will it be fee since they cannot detect what data I'm transferring. any help would be greatly appreciated in advanced.

does anyone know if there is a way to completely shut down my ppc 6700?it only goes on standby but I wanna find a way to just shut it down like a computer.otherwise every morning I have to reset it with the stylus.anyone know how to completely shut it down?

ok, here is a problem i have, and i think i know why...i think. There are 3 buttons on the side. the top button (button #5) was once used for the voice dial and record (push and push&hold) unitl...i installed microsoft voice command! now, even after uninstalling it, only the press&hold function works, not the push action. anyone had this problem? a fix? and does anyone know how i could just reinstall or restart my phone back to how it was when it came (like how i can do a reinstall of windowsxp on my computer and whipe out everything), that would be perfect. thank you so much.

I subscribed to Xingtone to create ring tones from my music and send them to my phone by text message. I got the message and saved the file to my phone but it is a .gcd file and I can't open it. Please help.

Any comments as to why I may or may NOT want to get this phone?

my friend offered to sell me this phone for 100 bucks...and i do need a phone and i am not eligable for an upgrade, how does everyone feel about that deal...is the phone worth the price?

Is the xv6700 a fast phone? i was in verizon today playing with a display one, and the phone was responding pretty slowly. i dont know if the phone's slow or if the display model was just old or something

I typically use my pda in landscape mode and I want to disable the rotation to portrait mode when I close the keyboard. I can set the screen orientation in different programs, but the setting is always overridden when the keyboard is closed. Any registry edits or other ideas?

im about to purchase my first pda phone i have narrowed it down to these two devices whichone is the better pick and why?

I am wondering if anyone knows if the 6700 is compatible with the new 4gb miniSD cards.

These will be the first miniSD cards using the new standard which brings SD cards "SD/mini/micro" from the FAT16 based file system which is limited to a max size of 2gigs to a FAT32 based filed system which will allow much larger sizes all the way up to 32gigs and possibly beyond.

What I would like to know is whether the 6700 can at present read a 4gig miniSD card. Has anyone tried?

If it can...then I'll likely pick one up so I can fit all my GPS maps and programs onto a single card. Otherwise I'll stick with my 1gig. (It is quite possible the 6700 could later be updated via firmware to read the new SD file system and utilize 4gb+ miniSD cards.)...

I just got off the phone from a tech support of verizon and he told me that even if i use my own hot spot such as at star bucks ill still be charged data or minutes becuase of some transmitting trough verizon wireless. can someone confirm this?

I have the 6700 now and can connect to the via wifi, but every time i try to go onto internet explorer, it tries to dial into (#777) the verizon network. Now i need the network to be open for pix/flix messaging, i just have the pay as you go plan, but is there a way to make it so it uses the wifi to connect to the internet?? please help i dont want to spend $30/month for internet i wont use that much. thank you...

Has anyone figured out a way to reassign the two soft keys on the device. The question has been asked before but never answered. I know it can be done on the Cingular 8125(I think), but I could not get it to work on my 6700. Thanks for the help
