Nokia 6265i
FLASH 6265i from metroPCS to CRICKET?
1st reason is i love this phone(short of some small bugs)
2nd reason is i payed $370 for this phone and would like to get my use out of it
the local cricket store said they can flash it for $50 but i would not be able to use internet or multi-media messaging(i especially need my internet on my cell) after flashing to cricket
any ideas or previous expeirence anyone might have on flashing the 6265i to cricket so it all works(and minus the $50 at that?)

miniSD memorycard question?
hi. i loaded my memory card with music and i dont know how to move them to the music gallery to play on the mp3 player...
the manual only says i have to defined into a track list, nd doesnt say how to.. i need help please.

why was this phone discontinued?
i absolutely love it and its discontinued from metro pcs. its a great phone!

themes & ring tones
i am looking for a way to use my mp3s as ring tones and how to get new themes. i can't beleive that they blocked that feature so we can't use are songs as ring tones that is really cheap of them

Formating a 2 gigabyte memory card
Anybody know how to format a non Nokia memory card for this phone? I have heard that you can only use Nokia brand memory card for it.

big images for contact when they call you?
I have loaded JPG images to my phone and assigned them to a contact, but when that contact calls the images show up on the screen extremely small.
Does anyone know how to control the size of an image when it is used with a contact.
I checked the image sizes and they are more than large enough to fill the screen when used.

Unlock the Nokia 6265i
I have a Nokia 6265i with Telus mobility and I would like to know how to unlock the cell. When I want to install a game or a software from the wap browser, I have an error 403. And when I install a theme, the download complete, the theme appear, but it is replace by the default theme of Telus after 2 seconde. Telus seem lock the phone.

What are they referring to when they mention gps module? does this phone have a gps location finder you can use and get directions from? also lets see some more reviews of this phone.

Slider key lock?
Does anyone know if the slider locks when the kepbad is in and unlocks when extended - like a flip phone when open or closed? Or does it lock with keystrokes like a candybar.
My husband needs one hand operation and prefers the flip phone for unlocking and answering ease, but it easily slips from his hand when trying to open it - broke the last one that way. Has to carry in an upper pocket or pants pocket so size is an issue, no space for a case to protect it. In my mind a slider and Nokia brand for reliability in our area (other brands drop calls or go into roaming a lot sooner) may be a win/win.
Nearest working model to me is an hour away. It will be a one day thing when I check it out in my hand an decide on it or another opti...

What's Up With The 6265i???
😕 I'm starting to wonder what the holdup is with this phone. I don't think it's good and was warned somewhere on this site to be weary of it.
I actually tested it at MetroPCS and was VERY impressed, but then it never came out! Every time I call metroPCS, I get mixed stories. The stores are even more screwed up on the info. They actually told that they have been in for a week today, but that's bs. Anyway, I'd rather wait for Verizon to get it, so that the reception would be worth a damn. Till then, I'll just hang with my 6255i...

Video Length on the Nokia 6265i
Im looking at getting this phone. I live in San Francsico so i was curious how good of call quality and signal I would get here?

I have a new 6265i and so far love it.
However, I have a few technical questions I was hoping some wiz could answer.
1. Does it support stereo bluetooth? I have a 2gb miniSD card in it with plenty of songs. I was wondering if a headset like the Motorola HT820, for example would work with it and provide stereo quality. I currently use a HS850 headset, which does play songs across it, but not of fabulous quality.
2. Can I get it to play the radio across a bluetooth headset of any kind? Or will it only work with a wired one? It says "connect enhancment" when I try to activate the radio while connected with my bluetooth headset.
3. What video formats does it support. I was under the impression it would play .mp4 files (MPEG 4)....
