Editing Forwarded Emails/saving &inserting attachments

Has anyone figured out how to EDIT a forwarded email (i.e. delete parts of the original email) and then forwarding on to the next email recipient? Also can you save attachments and then insert them in a future email?

Can you turn off the number tones on a Blackberry 7130?

I can't seen to find a way to turn off the number tones when dialing a telephone number on the Blackberry 7130. I know you can turn of the clicking sound for each key stroke under screens/keyborad but not the number string (sound).

Call forwarding issue

I will often forward my calls from my Blackberry to a land line while in the office. Unfortunately, there is a problem with this that Verizon acknowledges and for which it does not have a fix (or an intention to fix, it seems). Here's the situation... somebody calls my Blackberry and it forwards to a land line- no problem. While on the call on my land line, somebody else calls the Blackberry. The 2nd caller gets a busy signal- no call waiting, no voice mail, etc. This happens regardless of what line I am forwarding the Blackberry to. Verizon tech support acknowledges that when a call is forwarded, while that call is in progress any additional callers will always get a busy signal.

Here's my question: If I switch carriers, will the ...

Viewing .jpg pictures

My guess is there is something simple I'm missing here, but I cannot view .jpg attachments on emails. The screen clarity is awesome with the pictures that come pre-loaded, so I'd really like to be able to view pictures that are sent to me. I am able to open other attachments with the "Open Attachment" option, but that is not available for jpegs. Is there a Setting or Preference that I'm missing here?

BB 7130e

I have noticed that when I change time zones (when travelling). My BB7130e, does not change the time automatically. I have to change the time zone in the settings. My scheduled appointment times also change when I change the time zone. Is there a fix for this or setting change???

Thanks,

Data Usage

I was wondering if anyone has limited data with their Blackberry. I am looking to find out if it is worth going with a 10 MB data plan versus an unlimited data plan. Can someone give me an idea of what 10 MB will allow in a month without going over?

Battery Use on Plane

Yes, I know the handheld must be turned off on the plane according to FAA regulations. Having said that, it seems like every time I fly if I "accidentally" forget to turn it off the battery drains at a much quicker rate than normal. On my last cross country flight, I remembered to turn the "wireless off" and it still drained. I can't figure out if this is perception or reality. Has anyone else noticed this?

Customizing Icons?

The user's manual indicates that you can hide and rearrange the icons on the homescreen (by selecting "homescreen" under device options), but I'm unable to find any such choice.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

key click

Hi - anyone have problems with their keys clicking? not the normal thud of the key, but something that sounds like the key is disconnected from the connector and makes a metallic sound when depressed. Actually, I just need to tap the key to get it to make the noise.

Maybe I should just ask for a replacement.

Thanks in advance.

Where's the MMS I read EVERYWHERE?

OK everywhere I have read this phone has SMS/EMS/MMS capabilities, in all the Verizon press releases I saw online, so where is it? I can only create a SMS or email?

Anyone know where the MMS went?

Word Attachments??

Question?

Can anyone tell me if this device can open a MS word attachment to a email? All of my work assignments come to me via email and since I am part of the v710 settlement and eligible to get a new phone I am looking at either a blackberry or a xv6700. Any guidance on what would best serve someone who only wants email but needs to be able to open attachments containing word docs?

ATTN: MobileProfessor.

Have you heard of there being a "resourse issue" in Southeast Michigan?
I contact Blackberry Support regarding delayed e-mails on my exchange server and they claimed there was a "resource issue" in Southeast Michigan.
It is almost as if my e-mail is not "pushed" anymore, almost "pulled".
I have been running on an exchange server for 2 years now (using a 7130e as well as a 7250) and neither devices have had a problem as of late.
Any suggestions as to what may be going on? No one seems to have an answer for me yet..
Thanks.

jabra 250v & 350

I started out with jabra 250v with my BB 7130, but I have noticed that my phone crashes after the pairing is initiated (LED flashing red and the phone restarting). Sometimes, it just crashes when I am making a call using BT.
I have talked to tech support @ VRZ, they suggested the Jabra 350. I am seeing the same issue with Jabra 350.
Has anyone been experiencing the similar issues with Jabra BTs?
