What a FOOL!

Has anyone read the so called review from the so called Sprint employee? He rated this phone 1 out of 5 which is his opinion. However he loses all credibility when he states the A700 had the same swivel screen that the A940 has. I had the A700 and the screen did not swivel. Not sure where he works but I don't think he is a Sprint employee. This phone is a far cry from a 1 out of 5. This just cracks me up some sanyo lover trashing another phone. Don't get me wrong I have sanyo phones right now the 5600 and it's a great phone. I also have the A800, mm880 and now the A940. A mod sure remove that worthless review and ban that person from ever coming back to phonescoop.

Tap-Dialing From Palm PDA

Dear Group:

I'm very impressed with the reviews of this phone. And I'd like to get one.

There is one thing missing (or that noone has tried) that would seal the deal for me.

I've been waiting for a Nokia BT phone to get this, and am frustrated that the VI 3115 Sprint just released doesn't have BT. Let me explain.

I've been using a Sony Ericsson T608 (the best Bluetooth 1xrtt phone Sprint has, despite poor battery life) for two years now.

The Palm PDAs with BT can tap-dial the T608. You tell your PDA you're talking to a GSM phone like the T610 and it works.

This is a very, very convenient and safe interface for dialing contacts while in the car. And I'd like to get this to work on the MM-A940.

There is something in th...

Expected Arrival Date

According to recent meetings I've been in, the eta for this phone is 11/20. The other two EVDOs are going to come out around the same time.

Eesh.

Talk about a sea of plastic. Maybe that LCD needs to be even smaller. 😛

MicroSD Card

I'm new to the whole upgradeable phone memory thing and was wondering if there was any chance of a micro SD card larger than 512MB coming out in the future. Is it even possible to fit it into something that small?

Boo to Transflash

I wish companies would get off of the Transflash!!! It's expensive, only made up to 512mb., and there's notadvantage to it over mini sd, which is cheaper and made in larger sizes. It's enough to push me away from an otherwise nice phone, like this Sammy.
