Motorola SLVR L7

Can anyone give me an asnwer if This phone will be comming out for Verizon Wireless. and if so.. when?

Actual release date? 11th or the 24th? or some other date?

Cingular or T-mobile? (sidenote: amazon will most likely have unlocked versions, anyways, right?)

Anyone know if this phones music abilities are any good maybe as good as the rokr? I ask becaz i want this phone so i dont need to pay for a ipod.

I read the razr v3 has a 2.5 inch screan will this have that same size or was it scalled down?

i have a friend who works at motorola and he let me play with this phone. it has itunes on it (again itunes has a song cap)!!! and it comes out in november with cingular and the PEBL is coming out with t-mobile. also, contrary to the rumors, the moto Q is still coming out with Cingular, and they are really trying to get it out b4 the end of the year, but i think its the windows mobile thats delaying it, not motorola

Is the voice dialing on this phone the same as the voice dialing on the RAZR or is it more similar to the voice recognition of the Motorola E815? Any voice dialing features that exclude voice recognition seem pretty pointless now. If anyone knows the answer to this, please let me know. Another question is the debate on pricing. I will assume it is going to cost more than $300, but some people are saying it won't cost that much and still others say that my assumption may be too low. Any answers I can get I would greatly appreciate.

Let me guess...just like the Nokia 6101 w/ ptt...cingular will pass this one by aswell. All I want is a phone, decent camera(1.3 mp would be awesome, but will settle for vga), an mp3 player w/ decent storage....come on already! Billion dollar companies shouldn't be so slow....just my opinion. 🙄

I want this phone soooo bad. Also I know that Cingular is supposed to be rolling out PTT in This fall...is the SLVR going to be one of the first to utilize cingulars new ptt?

Moto's been tweaking the SLVR, and some things have changed:

1. It's not the SLVR V8 anymore - it's the SLVR L7. 😕
2. EDGE has been dropped - it's just GPRS now. ☹️
3. It's now quad-band instead of tri-band. 🙂
4. The front face is now a solid bronze color instead of black around the display and a silver keypad.
5. The keypad design has been streamlined a bit, so that 1-2-3 are all on the same "row", instead of 1-5-3 like before.

Does anyone have any info on the carrier

Thank you for taking your time Motorola. Not only is Samsung releasing a slim phone similar to the Razr V3--but Motorola is still using a VGA camera instead of at least moving to 1 megapixel.

i currently have the v710 on vzw. the most important feature in my opinion is the speaker-independant voice regignition software. the RAZR V3 has the almost useless software where you have to pre-record the names. does anyone know if the better version will be on this phone??? otherwise, it will be useless to me...

I just wanted to find out if anyone else has seen a matte red finish on any v8s. I saw one yesterday, but the guy was rude and didn't tell me how he got it.

Is this phone breakable if put in the pocket???? Will the normal pressure of the pocket break this phone??? I dont want this phone to be like the first version the V3 thanks
