Next Best VZW Phone

personally I think this will be verizon wireless's flagship phone. it has it ALL. what does it lack? its what all of you people have been complaining for. it has every feature including speaker, bluetooth, memory, and evdo. i will surely get this cell phone. yeah motorola/vzw history has been bumpy but this still is just so hott. does anyone know any other evdo potential phones coming out besides the e815?

Release Date

Based on VZW past performance, we should see this phone in about 12-14 months. I mean, sheesh, they just released the KX440 which was FCC approved in JAN 2004!!!!

Enjoying the wait like everyone else.

Frozen winter poop

Can we download videos on this phone?
I can currenty cut songs into 30sec clips and use them as ringers on my 9900, but havent found a way to do the same with video clips. Just hoping that the 815 will be "the answer".

Snow is finally dethawing here in Iowa. The corner of my yard that my dog poops in is really amazing, it's like one huge turd.

E-mail client?

If a phone doesn't have an e-mail client, does that mean that I can't check my e-mail through my phone or what? If not, than could someone please tell me what it does mean...

Thank you.

Replacing v710 with e815

I searched through both forums and did not see this question asked, but is the plan to discontinue the v710 when the e815 comes out? If so, does that mean that the replacement insurance would provide me with an e815 if something should happen to my v710 (say, get accidentally run over three or four times in my driveway)?

I have been using an LG VX8000 since November as part of the Vcast trial and like the phone expect for 1) it is too damn big and 2) no Bluetooth. The overall quality is outstanding and the camera is top notch.

??IPAQ 2215 Bluetooth talk to Motorola E815??

😳

Does anyone know if I can sync my contacts with this Motorola E815??

I have a IPAQ 2215 w/ Bluetooth and want to sync all or some of my contacts with my mobile phone.

I do not want a PDA phone because I use my phone for both business & play. Riding on an ATV through mud, forrest, dirt, etc- can be a pain with a BIG PDA in your fannie pack.
(haha)

Does anyone know of a phone that will sync with my IPAQ!!??

Thank you

charging port

Does anybody know if this phone has the same charging port as the previous motos?

And please no answers from any of you cingular or t-mob freaks. I will not switch carriers because of a phone and I do not find other males attractive. So we have nothing in common.

Only answers from verizon people, who don't degrade themselves by trying to get everybody to switch.

be patient, for moto sake 😈

Ringer Profiles?

If a cell phone doesn't have "Ringer Profile" capability, than what can't it do? I'm afraid I don't know what that means. Could someone tell me please.

Thank you.

2nd display

My only complaint is 2nd display 👿 . Gee Whiz, it could've, at least, had 65,000 colors. What's wrong with that?!

I HAVE A V710 - CAN I GET THE E815 FOR FREE WHEN IT'S RELEASED?

The real question is if you bought a v710 can you switch to the e815 for free. The only reason why i think there's a chance is because the software for the v710 blocks you from connecting to you computer via bluetooth even though verizon claimed it would be able to. Verizon is being sued over it as we speak. So i'm figuring we should be able to switch for free. If ne1 knows anything please let me know

Generic questions...

I haven't been to this website in a couple months, so I've kind of fell behind a tad. Just by reading the recent posts on here, what do you guys mean by "Verizon crippled Bluetooth"? And what is EV-DO? I know it has something to do with V-Cast (which seems to be one of the coolest things out there right now).

And one last question...when will Verizon finish up with the test markets for V-Cast? I know they're gonna have to update their towers to go nation wide, but any ideas on when V-Cast will be available everywhere?

Honest questions

Unfortunately, I was one of the "duped" with the 710. I waited something like 8 months checking forums and biting my lip until the phone came out last august. I drooled over it for the first 30 days. My 710 and I have a love/hate relationship, like most of its owners. So with that in mind, here are a couple questions:

-we know this is an update for the 710 is it worth getting even though it doesnt have analog?

- is the camera significantly better? I dont understand what the difference is between the vx8000 camera and this one.

- The bluetooth question has already been asked, but will this phone at least be able to transfer pics to an SD card, I heard the new samsung cannot do this even though the feature has been mentioned.

- Ar...

v710??

Can someone please explain to me the differences b/w the e815 and the v710? Besides a camera, keypad, and bluetooth upgrade this looks to me like pretty much the same phone. Am I right?
