I was thinking about getting the treo but I see you gotta pay I think 70 bucks a month to use it online? Mobile web 2 is 5 bucks a month on phones, yet to use the web on the treo you can either pay the 70 bucks a month or pay as you go?

Am I missing something here? Is there a way around the fees, maybe a SD wifi type situation? TIA

Sprint could add DUN (dial up network) for their customers, why can't Verizon. The main reason many people want this is so their phone can pair with their car kit. So let's go Verizon give us what we paid for

When I try and view PDF's that come over via e-mail on my 650, Adobe will not open the file, instead it gives me a database corrupt message. Any thoughts?

I know this reall yisnt tha place for this note, but many of you are on VZW.
i just changed my 650 plan to the 4000 min unlimited data plan , did anybody realize that VZW requires you too extend your contract date? I had 6 months left they just added 18 more months, This was the first I heard that they can change your plan by just saying it nothing in writing? I don't believe verbal contract are legal?
Has anybody else been illegally extended. I am about to pay the 175. and tell them to stick there service you know where.

Just got my 650 a couple of weeks ago, bought it on ebay and love it. I was just wanting to get suggestions for an MP3 player for it.

Also, is it true that with some of the mp3 players for the treo that you can stream music from services like rhapsody?

I have service with Sprint, anyone know if you can use the multimedia service with this phone as well?

Looking for a simple program that will either flash my led or light up my screen at intervals to let me know of missed calls, voicemail or sms on my treo 650.
I know butler can do that but i do not need all the other stuff in that program...
Is there any other program other than the butler that can do this?

I AM NEW TO THE TREO 650 AND SMARTPHONES IN GENERAL. I WAS CURIOUS IS THERE ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET WHERE YOU CAN GET FREE SOFTWARE LIKE THE GRAFFITTI AND OTHER STUFF?

I am currently a Kyocera 7135 user with Verizon. I love the palm but the phone, ah, well, ever since I have activated it 2 years ago has dropped way to many calls. Even the signal strength is always terrible.. So before I upgrade to the PalmOne Treo 650, and spend a lot of cash again on a smartphone, has anyone had the same experience and can talk to the signal and call loss difference between the two models?

New to the 650 getting ready to set it up with my email accounts. Any recommendations on why to use wirelesssync or versamail. Pros/Cons to each? Any help on which one I should go with could save me some uneeded setup time. Let me know what you all think.

Looking for a used 650 (Sprint) that is in GREAT condition.

Can someonce answer a question about voice dial? My understanding is that the Verizon 650 does not natively support voice dial - you have to download a separate app for this. And if you do, it does not work with Bluetooth headsets.

Is that correct?

Does anyone know if there is a decent AOL Instant messenger program or download that is run like a true IM not through text messages and delays for a treo? I have the sidekick and a verizon cell phone but I love the Instant messaging on the sidekick, I wanna switch to just one phone and am looking to keep that feature. Any help is definately appreciated. Thanks

currently have Nextel as my carrier but since the merger I am thinking of going back to Sprint. Before the service in my area was no that great (Baldwin Park, Ca) that was about 3 years ago. How is the service? Have there been any good changes to the service? Well if I do go back I have my eye on the Treo 650 Palmone that phone looks awesome. Can anyone tell me what they think of this phone what matters to me the most is reception and clear calls does Treo 650 offer that or is just a good looking phone. Thanks for the help!

ok got my 650... when a call is in progress and another call comes in you may answer it and it then puts the original call on hold thus call waiting. However when you finish the second call to return to the original call it doesnt end it it continues to keep it on hold. is there anyway to end that call? according to the manual it tells you when the call waiting incoming call is done to hit the hang up all button and then the sprint network will auto dial back both parties to continue original conversation. Is that the only way to do it??
