replaced my Pixel 3 with the Pixel 5

I upgraded from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 5, and the Pixel 5 far exceeded my expectations. The Pixel 5 is all around faster:

-The fingerprint sensor is instantaneous.
-Everything processes faster (remember, it has 8gb of RAM)
-The sound, albeit a different setup from the Pixel 3, is still clear, loud, and of good quality.
-Photos are quick to process, though Night Sight and HDR photos naturally take longer, which is true for the Pixel 3 as well.
-Screen is absolutely amazing. You notice a huge difference in clarity when side by side with the Pixel 3, not to mention the .5" bigger screen plus the 90hz refresh which is easier on the eyes.
-Battery life is leaps and bounds over the Pixel 3.

Sure, it isn't the most "glamorous" of pho...

Wonder why Google didn’t go Snapdragon 865 on this one. If they really wanted to differentiate it from the “a” series, I think they should’ve gone better processor. S20 FE has the 865 and 120hz screen for the same price.

Bullish on Pixel

I had the original Pixel and loved it. I really did not like the Pixel 2 and sent it back. I now have a Pixel 4a and I think that Google has really found its way on how to design and price phones.
