Motorola i930 / i920

well my little cousin works at sprint as a phone rep. and she told me that they discontinued the i930 because of unforseen problems with the phone so people say. but the phone has been great with me i really like it. and all of the i930's are on recall from nextel. to be replaced by the same looking i940?? does anyone know something about this or was my little cousin just messing with me

How, how can I use the phone using a GSM Sim overseas? I've tried it with a GSM Sim from another country but it asks me for a code and it is not the GSM Sim Code.

I can receive info via infrared on my I-930 but I dont know how to send info to another infrared port. Does anyone?

does any one know how to put a short video on a sd card..from ur pc..load it to ur phone..find it to send as a text or media message to other phones? Do i have to convert?if so how?man..this phone sucks!! i need my sony erricson 710a back!!! i been trying for 2 hours now and cant..i can get it on the card..but cant find a way to email it once i put the card in the phone

Can anyone please explain to me how to get picture called id on this phone? Also, what about ringtones? I know that you have to drag a media file to a foler on the phone, but where do you drag it from. I know these are dumb questions, but please help anyways!

hey out there, i just got the i930 and straight out of the box brand new it has two scratches. i was wondering if any body new how or if you can touch up the black glass finish..

Curious...if GSM was added to the phone for overseas roaming, why did Moto include the 1900 band? I thought that was US only. Hypothetically, could this be unlocked for use with T-Mobile?

Please help. I am looking to add bluetooth to my i930 by adding a Toshiba, etc Bluetooth SD card. I see all over the net where that is possible. However, I also see where I will get a certificate error. Does anyone know how to make this work?

Not just toshiba but any manufacture of the bt card?

Okay, so I had a customer come in today and tell me that he heard there was something about an update for the i930. Unfortuneatly, I have no idea what he is talking about. Could anyone please provide me with any info they may have on updates for it. Your help will be greatly appreciated!!

Can someone tell me how to get ringtones on my i930, I opened the app,data,and sound folder but where do I actually get the ringtones from and how can i get an video to play on the phone.

I am just wondering how to put a music video or an actuall movie on the phone. I have the music videos and movies on my computer allready but when i put them on the storage card they wont play in window media player when they will play in windows media player on my home PC. I just dont know if I have to Compress them some how or change the format. If thats what I have to do how do I?

Both my wife and I have the phone. We love it... although it is missing some of the latest features. Anyway, when the phone is closed and you look at the front, on the top right corner of the silver accent, it is cracking. I have determined it is from when the phone opens. any else have this problem? Thanks!

According to phone scoop the i930 has direct talk off network capabilities, however, nextel is not showing this as a feature on the i930. Can anyone tell me why or is scoop wrong?

Does anyone have this phone and text people with different wireless providers. Currently I have an i850 and feel it is very slow with texting. Im looking for a phone that is pretty much instant for back and forth texting. Thanks

😳 my i930 just locks up here and there... the shutdown button doesnt work when that happen u have to take out the battier to reset it.... i think u cant hit the keys to fast or something has this happen to any one else please let me know?????
