Today at the M3 music festival in Miami, Motorola announced the E725, a new music phone for North American CDMA EV-DO networks. The slide-style phone includes several unique music-oriented features, such as a full-size 3.5mm headset jack for stereo music headphones, MP3 player, FM transmitter for playback through nearby radios, FM radio, built-in 16mm stereo speakers, and a 5-band graphic equalizer. The E725 also contains over 40 MB of built-in memory, expandable to over 1 GB via a miniSD card slot. First, the reception is just terrible.
Next, the battery lasts half of what they cliam it will. It's about the same battery life as the SE47.
Finally, why does Kyocera continue to release garbage. It begs the question...have they tried the concept of Beta Testing??
Stay with the phones that actually work..Nokia, LG, Samsung, and MOTO.
BTW, soon Kyocera will have the proud symbol of "made in Mexico on the back" next to the Qualcomm 3G sticker.
