V620

This site is providing user reviews already and they are coming from usage on the Cingular network, so apparently it is available in some places. I know it's been sold on the internet for a while, but what about Cingular stores? When will they be bold enough to actually carry it?

v620 vs 6230

I have the 6230 and I'm really sick of its battery. I get less than 2 days of battery without any calls. This to me is pitiful. I really like the v620, however I don't know if I would be worth the hassle of selling my 6230 to buy it. Please let me know!

V620 vs. V600

Could someone please tell me what the difference is between the V600 and the V620. I've also heard that there are some issues with using the V600 with Cingular, yet I still see internet retailers selling the V600 with new Cingular plans. Can anyone confirm that the V600 will work alright with Cingular?

Size?

Hi,

Does anyone know what the correct size of this phone is?

According to this site (phone scoop):

Thr v600 is:

3.46" x 1.85" x 0.91"

And the v620 is:

3.46" x 1.85" x 0.94"

I am wondering if this is correct? Is the v620 a bit thicker then the v600?
To further add to the confusion, on Motorola (http://commerce.motorola.com/consumer/QWhtml /phone_comp.html) it shows the size as:

3.5 x 1.87 x 0.83 in.

If anyone knows the real size please let me know. I know it;s a small differeance but I would appreciate knowing 🙂

Cingular 11/16

Word on the street is that Cingular is comming out with some new plans on the 16th. I'm betting that they're going to be bigger and better for the merger. Also they are going to be rolling out a bunch of new phones. v551 is a def. but I'm betting/hoping that the v620 is going to be there too.

v600's and 850

i really dont know how much you guys know but i find it stupid that people are saying the the v600 has a problem with 850 and 800 is going to be much better etc. I really really hope you guys know that 850 and 800 are EXACTLY THE SAME THING. It used to be called 800 but 850 is a more proper name for it. Dont believe me? Search on this very site. You will find it.

Worthwhile to Wait

Dont know when Cingular will have this phone available. Cingular uses 850 for their GSM and ATT uses something different.

I was looking at Motorola V505 from ATT does anyone has that phone, how is teh service in the NY/NJ Area as my contract with sprint is about to expire in few days .
