supposedly

Suposedly it's available on the Cingular website right now. But knowing Cingular, they might pull it off all-of-a-sudden for a couple weeks. Anyways, it says it is $550 and has no rebates.

No Dice

I just called Cingular and they informed me that the phones are not available. They are not slated to be available anytime soon.

They are in!

😁
As of this morning they are in the warehouse, should be hitting stores any day now. As far as I know there is no longer a hold on them. As for the camera, like I said before Cingular will not carry the camera version. I was just as disappointed as you all were, and I actually had a say in it!

HTC Blue Angel (Qtek9090) or Magician (S100) ?

I am based in Europe and use my phone in Europe and Asia. I am an average user of both phone and PDA functions (not heavily oriented to one) and would like to use the personal entertainment features too (MP3 player, photo viewer etc.). After a bit of search and study I am inclined to buy a Qtek 9090 or Qtek S100 (more inclined). To decide on one I would like inputs and user feedback. I list the following comparative plus / minus.

Siemens SX66 / MDA III / PDA2k (HTC Blue Angel) / Qtek 9090

+ Screen (3.5“)
+ WiFi
+ Inbuilt Keyboard
- VGA Camera
- Heavier and more cumbersome to hold

HTC Magician / MDA Compact / Qtek S100 /imate Jam

- Screen (2.85“) (Reasonably OK)
- No WiFi (Can be WiFi enabled with SD-WiFi card)
- No Keybo...

Cingular update

I just got off the phone with my rep. They are only selling it (in my town) through their business lines. It will be $599 list, with discounts of 50 for a 2 year plan.
They say they will have them in inabout a week.

Phone Details

As of today the phone should be released by Cingular next week. To my understanding with a very good source; Cingular has an exclusive for 90 days on the phone. So 90 days from the cingular launch other carriers can start selling it. The phone is what everyone is waiting for! Trust me, they are going to have to pry it out of my dead hands. If you load Microsofts voice commander on it the phone reaches a whole new level! if you have any questions I can try and answer!

WM2003SE, WiFi, BT, VGA Camera AND Quadband? Awesome!

And 128MB RAM - this thing looks disturbingly useful. Price and battery life will be the deciding factors, I think - I may even have to import one if it doesn't come out here.

To be carried by TMO USA around Nov. 25

I just received word today that T-Mobile USA is planning on carrying this phone starting around Thanksgiving (Nov. 25), just in time for Christmas. I verified this by calling their New Accounts line; they said the same.

This Blue Angel won't be able to speak!!

This phone is beautiful....a angel indeed. Where is the speakerphone though!!!! I can't believe this was left off. The mda II has it! 😢 😢

I have a Sony T610 and T3.. and I really hate the fact I don't have a speaker phone with the T610. I was really looking forward to this pda/phone combo. I still may get it.
