does the original color sidekick have Yahoo Messenger? is the internet as fast as the SKII?

hey I have the Mister Cartoon Limited Edition one and I saw that I have a little dust in the LCD screen. it's not a huge deal, but it's really annoying, especially in direct sunlight. so I was wondering if anyone, especially anyone who's had their Sidekick for a while, knows how to get dust out. I would do an exchange repair through T-Mobile, since I've only had my Sidekick since December, but since it's in 'limited quantities' [which I'm sure it's not haha] they would only be able to give me a regular one.

also, has anyone else's Sidekick ever randomly restarted itself? it'll shut off, turn on, and you won't have any contacts or calendar dates. then in like 2 minutes, everything's fine? help? anyone? hahaha thanks.

ok first and foremost a disclaimer about the username....i am aware it is a cingular name, i used to work there, maybe i should change it but anyways, i just ported my cingular number to a sidekick and the activation went through but i cant recieve messages from some wireless carriers mostly cingular, anyone else have this problem?

the sk3 will be coming out April of 2006. it will be like a music phone too. in october of 2006 the limited edition will come out with UMA technology. then mid 2007 the Sidekick NG will come out. it is suppose to be like a slimmer phone like razr style for the NG.

Hey all- just got my sidekick yesterday!! horay huh?-
well my activation is taking the longest to upload- Like they say it should take 48 hours to activate or less- how long has it taken for any of your sidekicks to activate? because i wanna get started- then how do i know when its finished activating

can this phone play mp3s as ringtones?

I'm worried about the size, so can someone tell me if it's to Big to stuff in your back pocket?

Are there any prepaid users who will answer this couplpe ?'s? I am worried the the decuction of $1.00 a day will drain my account too fast. It is a GREAT deal but if there are days that I don't use it...
How often do u find your self adding more air-time? Is this system bad for people who talk every day for about 10 minutes? Give me some advice.. Thanks! 😁

I really want this phone...bad. I love that it has the web and the design can't be beat. What I wanna know is how well it works for just normal talking. I don't use the phone for calls more than once or twice a day anyway and for only a few minutes at a time, so I'm not a big talker, but I still like a phone that works well against your ear.

So what's the verdict?

since i have prepaid service with tmobile and i get the sidekick 2. will i be able to have the unlimitied internet and all the other goodies?

is the signal coverage for tmobile that bad in the bay area, california? cause im from maryland but im moving down there in 2 weeks and i was just wondering which service has better reception tmobile or nextel

I just got my sidekick and went to tmobile to get some songs for ringers and the selection sucks.
So i was told by my friend that unlimitedringtones.com is a good site, but im not sure if it works with the SK.
Can someone let me know if it will work and if not can someone help me out and let me know some good sites.

if you know any rumors or info about if t-mobile is gona make a sidekick for like verizon then please let me know, cuz im dying to get a sidekick but its hella expensive to cancel my contract

if I unlock the phone to use with my Cingular SIM card, but I sign up later for the Sidekick Data Plan? I've heard that the programs specifially designed for T-Mobile will be lost or unavailable. I want to unlock my Sidekick, but when I do sign up for the Data, I don't want it to be all messed up. Especially since I have the Mr.Cartoon version..and there's no warranty on it..
