Motorola RAZR V3

Could someone please explain to me what the deal is with November 15th? Is that the first day that it actually goes on sale? I mean, like if I buy it today from the site, will I get it in a couple of days, or is Nov. 15th the earliest distribution date?

Would it be cheaper for me to buy this phone from overseas? I was thinking about purchasing it on the web or something like that, also would it have an older software? or would it be the same?

I just received my new unlocked razr does anyone know what the proper setting are on the browser setup to be able to get on internet?

i just called the cingular here in michigan.. they don't have the phones in the stores.. they said they just took a class a few days ago that said the phones would all be coming in shortly after the merger so it should be any time.. it shows the razr on the website in my region as well

Has anyone heard anything like the following? According to a few different cingular stores in my area, the phones are in the warehouse being "outfitted" for cingular and should be shipping soon. I've also heard people who work in cingular store and won a v3 will not be getting theirs' until nov. 18th. In talking to motorola directly, they are saying the first half of Nov. price I've heard are 650.00 with a 50 rebate. anyone else here these stories and are they true?

Hey guys, the phone is showing on Cingular's website, so I guess we can start ordering them now. 😁

P.S It's listing for $499 with a 2yr contract.

I would really appreciate it if anyone can help. I need to figure out the MMS settings for my RAZR for ATTWS. Does anyone out there in the world know how to do this...as the OTA configurations from ATT website will not go through to my phone...Much thanks.

just wanted to elt you folks on some info...goto www.engadget.com and read about teh v3...they say that cingular gets it EXCLUSIVELY....along wid the sony ericsson s710a...just a heads up....

I just had a thought....do you think since this is (at least for the moment) be a Cingular-exclusive phone, that Motorola is going to put that stupid Cingular ringtone on this beautiful phone?

I work for an independant company that is in charge of AT&T to CINGULAR conversions. We are putting up posters, literature, dummy/model phones, etc. for the RAZR V3. The official time frame is from November 1st through the 15th for completion of the conversion. The phone should be for sale at all locations by on or after Novemeber 15th when the "new" Cingular is to launch officially. According to my paperwork there are to be some good general specials during this conversion time also, so look out for those at your local store and definitely go in on the launch day.

I use both carriers but....

T-mobile.... really friendly, gave me what they believed to be the right settings and no luck.

Cingular....assholes as usual. wouldn't allow me any direct access to tech support. argued with me and tried to make me believe that the settings would magically appear! what a friggin' joke! so.... now they are faxing me instructions for the v400 setup thinking they are the same as the V3. maybe they are....

To Cingular employees... sorry for my rant but my experience with your company has just totally sucked! I want to like Cingular! They just keep bending me over and disappointing.

I finally received a product update emailing from Motorola regarding the RAZR V3... Nothing really new in it, same old stuff.

The only interesting thing about it was that they actually sent an email regarding the RAZR...

I am "hoping" that means we are close to a general release for the phone onto the U.S. market??? Let's hope so anyways... 😁

I am impatient to get razr v3... I found a store in chicago off internet that sells uk version of razr...I calledmoto spoke to a customer service rep and asked if any difference beween phones...he said cingular should have us razr either first or second week of november and to wait for us version...he said us version more compatable with our gsm system is this bs?

If uk phone or asian v3 is as good as us phone where can I purchase this phone in us without buying from hong kong or uk?

I went to a cingular store and the manager told me the price of the Motorola RAZR V3 is going to be $400 dollars i advise u 2 look 4 another phone because this price is 2 expensive 4 a phone with not alot of features.

Compare the Sony Ericsson z500 to the Motorola Razr V3 and u will see it is way better.
