LG VX-4700 / VX-4650 / AX-4750 / UX-4750

Maybe I'm nuts but I could swear I had no ERI banner on my first 4650. When I activated my second (replacement) yesterday I now have an ERI banner. I never saw 'Extended Network' on the first one and now do on the second. I've done *228 on both and the PRL is 50331 on the second one. I THOUGHT is was different on the first.

Just purchased the vx4650, got the mobile office kit too. Does anyone know how to download pictures (my own) to the phone. On my old v4400 I used bitpim but this phone doesn't seem to be supported with it.

i really want a PTT phone...especially this one but i dont have anyone else to use PTT with. i think im just getting REALLY bored with my 7000. does this seem retarded to you?

I'm thinking of getting the 4700 with Verizon soon. I have two questions:

1) Can you put the phone onto vibrate only when receiving PTT calls? Or will there always be some sort of noise alerting you to incoming PTT call?

2) What is the vibrate like on voice calls? Pretty robust?

3) I see this phone sometimes pictured with both a blue or a silver cover. Are these colors carrier specific? Does Verizon only have silver colored phones?

I know that the 4750 is for Alltel but will it work on Verizon.

The new VX-4650 is now on VZW's site as of June 20 in the Brooklyn area code. No more worries about when it is coming out now! Does anyone know if the accessories to the VX-400 will fit the VX-4600?

Happy with my LG vx4650 so far (basically like the 4700 but without PTT).

I realize it is a half duplex speakerphone. I am very satisfied with the quality of sound that comes out of it on my end. But after my wife complained about her experience when talking to me while I have it set on speakerphone, I did a test.

Apparently, the person on the other end, whether on cell phone or land line, experiences echoing, somethings garbling, when they are speaking. The voice coming through their line from the speakerphone is pretty much clear, but it's when they speak.

Could this be the fact that the speaker is on the fron (wich I really dig...but not at this expense!)

I looked on phonearena.com and read that VZW will be coming out with the 4650 soon. Has anyone heard anything about it yet?

Is the LG VX - 4700 Compatible with other 2 way phones like Nextel and Sprint? My friends have 2 way with Sprint and Nextel and I have Verizon 😢 I had Verizon for only 6 months I hate to cancel it and get Sprint or something. SO I was wondering if this phone will be Compatible with theirs. LET ME KNOW!! 😉 😉

My question is.... how is the speaker option on this LG since the speaker is in the front of the phone instead of the rear.

I just got the Kyocera SoHo from Alltel because of the great reviews on Phone Scoop about the speaker phone feature. However, I am kind of disappointed.

I like to clip my phone on my sun visor to use the speaker option but found it hard to hear the speaker well.

I still have 14 days to trade in the SoHo and get the LG if you LG users think the LG is far superior.

a version of this phone will be released soon by verizon wireless without the ptt feature. it will be a trimode phone and everything but no ptt. i think iDescription

I work for VZW. Just so you all know, you can have a family share plan, and not have them ALL on PTT. I have a family share plan with 5 lines on it, and only 1 is PTT. Until recently this wasn't possible. If you call in, they will stil say it is not possible, but it is. You just have to get someone on the phone who knows how to set it up for you.

Can anyone advise what the display size on the 4700 is like?

In the past week I got an LG VX-6100 which I like, but would really prefer a larger display size. I can return and exchange the 6100 for the next week.

The 6100 has 7 lines of display. I read that the 4700 only used 5 lines of display - if that's correct and the lines are therefore larger - that would work great for me.

how's the reception on this thing? same as the vx6100? had receptions issues like the constant switching between digital->analog->no signal. Just curious if LG has made improvements in this area on this phone.

I cant even believe someone would purchase this phone, it hurts to look at.

I have the LG VX4700 Phone from Verizon, I have been having problems with sometimes people calling me, the call goes right to voicemail, people calling say somethines it does not even ring, just right to voicemail. Anybody else having this problem?

how is the service this time around?
