MP3 ringers

with regard the lack of an onboard MP3 player, will MP3 ringers still be possible? i am sorry to admit that i have been sufficiently ruined for life by voice ringer capabilities.

Question

My husband really wants this for Christmas, and I've been thinking of getting it for him. The problem is that no one he knows owns one. Is it possible to play against random people, or do you have to the person to play against? Please help!

Excel files?

Does anyone out there know of any FREE programs to view Excel files? This thing works great as an e-mail client, but my job deals with a lot of Excel files. It would be sweet if I could view the attachments...

new and improved

well at least nokia was listening to us and made a new n-gage, cause the other kinda sucked. this is way better than the original because it has the hot swap and its cheaper and its smaller and it has the classic normal way of talking. even if it doesnt have an mp3 player you can download an mp3 application to the n-gage qd. so you basically have the n-gage and a better mobile gaming device. this is one of my phones im gonna buy the other is the 7610 phone.

Nokia

It is a good concept but nokia should just stick to what they do best making good phones.
Not making a GBA wannabe.

Hands-On Review

Looks like my buddy Howard got his hands on one already, and just published a preview. It includes a photo of it next to an original N-Gage for size comparison. It's smaller than you might think. 😎 Check it out:

FCC Approval

The FCC approved this a few days ago, but Nokia (being the smart guys they are) withheld any (all-important) attachments until literally within an hour or two of the official press release.

There's only a couple docs posted so far as of this writing, but assuming there will be more... for the technical folks who savor FCC PDFs... enjoy:
