Audiovox CDM-8910 / PM-8912 / Flasher V7

Hi, I love this phone but I was wondering are there any codes to unlock the Flasher to any other networks? Or is there a way to get a better web browser? Also I've heard of other codes where you press numbers then press end. What is that? How does that work? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Please click on the link below where i was thinking of ordering a faceplate for my flasher v7..i'm not sure i've heard a billion different things about faceplates on how u can't or can have them but will someone please tell me if you think these faceplates would work??

at first i really, really wanted the 9900 because of the mp3 ringers.. but it was sold out.. so since i was stuck with this phone, i wanted to see what would happend if i sent 80k mid's to my phone through vzwpix.com and they worked! it's a lot cheaper than buying through get it now, but so far i've only been able to send one at a time. (@ exactly 80k.. any higher wont work) but $0.25 beats $2.50 any day... the directions for making the mp3 ringtones are exactly the same as the 9900 (search the forum) i'm just not sure if you can send more than one.. i do think this is an awesome feature though! i noticed that this hasnt been mentioned in this forum so i figured i'd enlighten you.. 🙂 have a nice day all

this one has a camera (big plus) as well as downloadable games and wallpapers......is this phone very good? 😁

anyone know a way to change the faceplate on it, they have red now!! 😳

Looks like one of those phone which every carrier(CDMA carriers) carry. What i mean is like the kyocera slider which cdma provider didn't carry it. And name one cdma carrier in the usa that doesn't carry it.

1.how can i or where can i upload mp3s from my labtop (which is a titanium g4...yes apple) to my cell phone?

2.on my screensaver...on the top says verizon wireless and on the bottom has date and time. these are both covering my image. i just want my image on the screen. how can i do that?

When placing a pause between my numbers I am putting in my phonebook, I have the choice of a 'Hard Pause' and a 'Timed Pause'. Both pause too long. Is there any way to make the pauses shorter or set the duration of the timed pause so it will be shorter?

I read on another forum that you can only recharge the battery 300 times - then it must be replaced. Sounds unlikely, but thought I'd ask.

I had a customer with a battery issue. I told the gentleman that when the phone's out of range it'll use more power to switch over to analog. He told me it didn't switch over when his friend's older motorola did. I couldn't find the option where it lists "analog only" on the phone to test the signal.

Has anyone else have a similar issue with the phone? Or am I just looking in the wrong settings?

Can you use the pictures you take as the background for your phone? I assume you can, but since I don't own it yet, I want to make sure.

Is this true? I havnt heard anything about it thus far

Does this phone have flash?If it does is it good?

This is really a nice data tool, especially for audiovox 8910! I got this small handly tool only for US$30 plus tax, and it really surprised me!The features are amazing,such as Phonebook edit/upload/download
Ringer composer (and I got 500 free ringers from the package)
Images upload/download/edit
Internet mobile office
You should buy one for yourself if you also own a 8910!I think it is really a nice investment.

I currently have the 8610 phone for Virgin Mobile, and I want to upgrade to the 8910. However, I want to know if the v7 still has some of the flaws as the 8610 does, or if it has been ugraded.
The ringtone volume is SOOOO soft on my 8610, even when it is on it's highest volume! Also, ringtones only last 20 seconds. Does the Flasher still have these same ringtone problems?
Also, where is the speaker on the v7 phone? Is it on the back or inside the flip part of the phone again like the 8610?

Can the data cable be used to copy pictures off this phone onto a PC? or ringtones onto it?

Does the body glove case for the 8900 fit this phone as well?

I think first of all that this is a very attractive phone, but i have had the phone for a day and I can see a couple of problems so far with it. Fist the browser is extreamly slow I find. It takes like over 30 seconds to load any page. It sometimes will freeze up for about 10 seconds.

I will address this issue first. Has anyone had the same problem? also I know that some phones have software upgrade to them! anyone know if there is any for this phone?

Is the flasher not flash?? or is it just my flasher that does not flash good..evenif its only slightly dark the pic wont take
