In box no space?

I've been trying to upload a file but the upload keeps erroring out. The message says Inbox no space delete last message.

But I have no messages stored, there's very few pictures and 1 short video in the phone.

So anybody know what's going on? How does one check the memory usage?

Battery Dies

In standby I am lucky if I get 24 to 36 hours. Anyone else having that problem. My phone is back at Audiovox for the second time. The first time they said they soldered some loose contacts. I am waiting to see what happens this time. Otherwise, the phone has been great.

Overseas compatibility?

Does anyone know if this phone will work in certain regions of Asia (Thailand and China, in particular?) or where I can go online to find out CDMA-compatible regions? There is a chance I might go to one of those places for an extended period and was wondering if I could take my 9900 if so and have local service applied to it.

I know in most of Europe, and I think in Japan, CDMA is not the standard technology.

Any help will be appreciated.

WAP 2.0?

Sorry if this has been answered already, but does this phone have WAP 2.0? The Phonescoop info page simply says "yes" under "wireless internet".

Game selection in Get It Now...

Compared to the v710 I had, the game selection on the 9900 is less. Is that because it doesn't support Java? I was looking forward to a few like Baldurs Gate. Anyone know for sure why this is?

v710 vs 9900

I realize I'm posting this in an extremely partial forum, but so be it. I own the v710 and in the middle of my trial period. Overall I like it, but I'd still like to know how it compares to the 9900. When looking at specs, the v710 is far superior b/c of its bluetooth capabilities. However, when one gets down to the good stuff, I wonder really which is on top. By good stuff I mean reception, call quality, battery life, screen quality, resolution, UI, etc.

Anyone had both that can shed some light on this? Tnx.

True Comparison of LG VX7000 and cdm-9900 from somebody who owns both!!!!!

I owned the LG VX7000 for 3 months until recently because I am going to see my cousin in Arkansas and there is only analog out there so I had to go with a trimode phone, so I got the CDM-9900(The VX7000 is only digital). Money was never an issue so I wanted the best tri-mode phone Verizon offered so I ended up buying a Brand New cdm-9900 for $245 on Ebay due to the great reviews. I have owned the CDM-9900 for about a month now and I can say enough about both to tell you some differences. Remember, this is coming from somebody who had both phones not somebody who played with the VX7000 for 30 seconds and acts like he knows all about it. So here we go:
I found the camera on both the VX7000 and the CDM-9900 to be very comparable in quality alt...

Voicemail Mailbox - Auto enter password

With my old motorola, when I called my Voice mailbox from my phone, it wouldn't prompt me for the password but the CDM 9900 does. Is there anyway for the phone to auto enter the password when you call from your own cell so that you don't have to enter the password everytime?

Should I get one used for $150? HELP!

I have the opportunity to purchase one of these phones that was used for 1 month with no physical damage. Comes with holster, charger, manual. Should I do it? My contract is up in 6 months and not sure if it is worth waiting? Since it is discontinued is it worth purchasing and dealing with any bugs? PLEASE HELP! I am time limited. thank you much!

Vibrate Then Ring

To those 9900 owners out there. I have had V60's for the last three or four years and I love them but it is time to move on. One feature that I have to have is the vibrate and then after maybe two rings or a number of seconds ring. I got a LG 4500 off of eBay and I HATE IT!!!! It is nice and loud but it feels cheap and you can not make it vibrate and then ring, it just vibrates and rings at the same time very annoying. Anyway my e-mail is grobinson2@msn.com but I will also check here for an answer. Also know of any other VZ phones out there that will do the vibrate and then ring feature? Is the LG 8000 supposed to do that?

Thank You,
Glenn

LED Light?

I'm just curious what does the flashing red LED light that's just above and to the right of the camera lens signify? When the phone is closed, this LED light will flash at about a rate of once every 5 seconds. When the phone is open, it will blink at once per every 10 seconds.

I called Verizon and they seemed to think it would be green when I was in my local network, and red would signify I was not in my local network. Well, I haven't left my local network area since I've had the phone (for the last 3 months), so I don't think they know what they're talking about.

Does anyone know? Thanks! 🙂

Trouble sending pics to phone

I have tried to send pics from my computer, using Outlook, which starts Word for a new message. I put it to plain text, but the pics still do not show up on the phone. Error message. So I followed Howardforums instructions; sent using mail2world.com. The pics make it if I send one at a time, but when I set main screen to one of them, after closing the phone I end up with a white screen. They work fine on the LCD screen. Any help woould be appreciated.
