When????

Does anyone have a clue when this phone will be available? I was told by the local Verizon store that it should be out sometime this month but I've not seen anything to indicate that.

It'll work!

😎 Keep in mind, Verizon Wireless is partially owned by Vodaphone overseas, which is the largest carrier in Europe. Vodaphone uses GSM Technology across Europe and Asia, so this phone is the next step for Verizon Wireless to offer a "World Calling Plan." Also, it allows travelers from Europe and Asia who are Vodaphone customers to continue to use their phone while visiting the Americas... genious! 😳

My kind of phone

Although it lacks bluetooth and a speakerphone, this is the kind of product that will keep me a Verizon customer.

I was thinking of porting to AT&T so I could roam internationally on one phone, but this makes me think twice.

dual mode in america?

is it technically feasible to have both cdma 800+1900 and GSM 800+1900 all on one chip? this is a great phone/idea from samsung but i have a cdma and gsm line both in the states that i would like to consolidate onto one phone.
