No Bluetooth?

Wow. I guess Bluetooth will not become standard as I had thought and was told. Sanyo not picking up on this technology confuses me. Anyone know why they are not using it?

Sanyo 5500 vs. Samsung A680

I think I know everything I need to about the Sanyo 5500, but now I want to know about the Samsung A680. Where do I find out the particulars, like how long can you shoot a video clip for, and can it be used as a video phone?

Straight from Sprint PCS

I just came from the sprint store and they should have the phones on Monday they r 379.99 and if u already have a plan with pcs vision it 5.oo for unltd ready link in addition to whatever plan u have. I put my name on the list for the sprint store rep to call when it comes in so i can go pick it up but if they don't have it Monday a Sprint Pcs rep i spoke to via the phone said that I can call and order it Monday morning. I have seen and played with them and this is what I wanted to share. Oh and by the way the phone comes in two colors dark blue and silver. I thought the silver one was the one w/o the camera but the rep said the will be manufacturing the one with the camera in those 2 colors.

Tell me this...

And what does all this have to do with the Sanyo 5500 (AKA VM4500)? No matter how long you talk about blutooth, sprint isn't going to get it anytime soon. My opinion on this is because they have an unlimited data plan. And their data service is fast. And they don't want people using their phones as Modems! Do you see where I am going here? Have I made my stream of logic clear enough?

Anyway, the new Sanyo looks awesome. Much better than previous models which were either too large for what they had, or "cheap" feeling as I will call it. They do make some of the best phones out there. If you really need Bluetooth, (and bad call quality, slooooow data speeds,) go with AT&T or T-Mobile.

Do we need it?

😕
I'd like to hear your thought's, does sprint need push to talk service? I'd rather them focus on producing Bluetooth phones and just give us more talk time for our money.

Sprint is taking over!

well, looking at this phone and knowing sprints service and versatility, and ive been with them from the beginning, i can say i look forward to this new upbringing from one of the best cell companies(shouldnt say cell, since they are all digital!) out in the market. I've had all the sprint phones ever made, and sanyo has been really good to me. i cant wait for them to introduce a sanyo ptt phone so i can get it and use the service. ii like nextell, but hate their plans, so I'm looking forward to see what sprint will offer. hopefully they can just blow the competition away when they introduce the first ptt/camera phone. 🙂
