The battery

I have had this phone for about 3mos. And I have noticed the battery has loosened up on the back of my phone. I also noticed the battery life is the worst I've EVER had.(including my n-400). I relize leaving the ready link on uses up more battery life than normal, but I can't make it an entire day. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any of these probs.

Anybody know how to make animated PNG files???

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody knows how to make an animated PNG file that could be used as an animated screensaver. What tools are needed also. I can let you know the highest resolution for the main screen is 132 x 160 for animation, it doesn't fill up the whole screen when animated. I haven't test out the resolution for "signal search" and "outgoing calls" as of yet. If anybody, that would be great also. Thanks all.

Downloaded Ringer Volume?

Does anyone besides me have trouble with volume on downloaded ringers for this phone?

I have tried a number of sites, including Sprint's, and the volume is weak on the downloads. The internal ringers are nice and loud, but no downloads.

Any solutions?

Picture ID??

Anyone....

Does this phone have EXTERNAL picture ID???

Does the picture show on the outside screen so you don't have to open the phone to see the pic?? Or just the INTERNAL screen?

Thanks!

***INTERNAL TXT MSG SERVICE IS NOW UP!!!***

Hi all, I just wanted to let you guys know if some doesn't already know, is that the txt msg function for this phone, the RL2500, and I think the nokia phone now works!!!! I was just testing out my txt msg feature because I was bored today, and it went through showing "sending complete". I was like đŸ˜ŗ and my friend txt back, confirming me that this works!!! This is so much better then short mail and there is no use for that anymore at all. NOT even PCSmail also, this phone has a lot of feature when it comes to true txt msging. One neat thing is that you could send it to multiple recipients 😁

Outlook Calendar PC Sync

🙄 I have been looking for a PC Sync application that NOT only syncs the contacts from Outlook into the SCP-5500/VM4500 but also synchronizes the Calendar activities/events into the phone. Does anyone know where I can find this application? I found the cable already. Thanks.

Sanyo VM4500 for $230; plus $100 credit?

I talked to a Sprint PCS Rep. today.
I asked about the silver vm4500, they have mountains of them. I asked whats the best deal i could get on one. I was told resign my 2 yr contract and get $150 off. And, thats not all he told me that i was eligable to receive $100 credit to my account, plus a certain percentage off select accesories. i don't really know why i am eligable for the extra $100; maybe its do to my USAA account. When i call sprint it connects me to a sprint pcs/usaa rep.
He's called me back once today and reported about the status on stock, I get one call again on weds. to make the deal and get the silver.
No matter what happens i'm gonna be one happy camper.
