Samsung SCH-A650

The only thing that I know for sure, is that it will be out before the end of August, more than likely. VZW is implementing the 1xEVDO this summer (late) and that will be the quicker download than the 1xRTT. So any phone with 1xRTT will more than likely be out before the end of August, early September.

The a660/vi660 has the advanced voice recognition but the specifications for the a650 on this site state that it has the older voice technology and only takes 20 entries.

If the a650 is really the twin of the a660 why not include the good voice recognition? Or is the site mistaken.

This phone looks really cool. Seems like the A310 with two good features added- color screen and the ability to download rings and such. I wonder if it will be tri-mode when it is released, or if it will be all- digital... anyone know anything??

I just talked face to face with a samsung rep and he said the 650 and the 670 would both be arricing in VZW stores in 45 days or so. the PTT phone is currently delayed

This mid-tier phone seems cool, but its very inconvenient not to have a caller id on outside (makes it a pain to have to flip open if you dont want to actually answer the call).
