AT&T released 4.3 on the Note II on Tuesday - why not posted here?

AT&T released 4.3 on the Note II this past Tuesday (three days before Verizon), yet it didn't get any mention here on Phonescoop.

Why should Verizon get all the attention here at Phonescoop? AT&T is a lot better than Verizon regardless of what anyone wants to believe.

I just got the note 2 on Verizon and it looks as though the back plate is already qi wireless charging ready...? I haven't been able to actually place it on a charging pad yet to verify but is this the case? Do the Verizon models come with it?

Still bloatware

I'm glad to see that Samsung is sending out regular updates. The article says that the 4.1.2 updates removes the Zappos app, but after the update, it is still there. Once you remove the updates, the app will be gone.

Cannot be installed on HTC One yet

Why is everyone saying this can be installed on the HTC One. You can download it now but it doesn't work. Just redirects you to the Facebook App. 🤨

messenger

I tried Facebook home to put simply it sucks, messenger on the other hand I have set to as my main sms app and it's nice because the chat head feature still works with normal text messages.

ISIS not compatable in the NOTE II

HAS anyone from the SLC, Utah or Austin, TX area tried to download and use the "NEW" ISIS program? It allows the user to load the credit cards to the phone and it becomes the card. I can download it to the phone, but it says Verizon is not compatible. It works on the Galaxy III S... It also works on the NOTE with T-mobile and Sprint... I spent 3-4 hours at the Verizon Store and with Tech support on the phone and could not get it working... Before I take it in and get a new phone, I need to know if it's the phone or just not compatible... I don't want to reload all the apps again... 👀 Let me know all
Thanks...

"Plasticky"

While I understand the wish list for better build look and feel, I become disappointed in the overlook of the plastic material.

Rather a resin/vinyl material, it is the same material used in safety helmets. Does this make it lack durability? The polycarbonate material absorbs impact far better than stiffer material. This means it protects the cargo inside much better. Thus why they use this material. When insurance claims are made on phones, I think it is far less expensive to repair and refurbish a handset where the inner components haven't been sacrificed due to hard impact. As cars are made to absorb impact to protect the occupants. It is cheaper to total a vehicle rather than pay out very expensive health and medical insurance.

FACE DIALING?

Couldn't help but notice one of the selling points on the Sammy website for their custom case with the flip cover is you don't have to worry about your face hitting any of the buttons on the screen? WTH? I thought this was a thing of the past? Or am I overreacting-lol?

Just wow

I'm surprised they haven't added Samsung TV's to the mix. Oh wait, they only seem to be going after devices that are in direct competition with them. People can say what they want but, if Samsung wasn't their direct competitor in hardware, i doubt Apple would be doing this. At least, not on such a large scale.

What The (insert choice of explitive)!

Apple is like that chic on Maury that got drunk at a party can't remember quite what had happened and now is parading an entire line of devices, making all kinds of absurd claims, clogging up the court dockets, subjecting everyone to undue test and scrutiny just to get a check. ..

Geesh Phone Baby Mama Drama

COME ON APPLE! Is this really worth the damage this is doing to your once in foul able BRAND? Have you checked the pulse on your Net Promoter Score? There are several consumers out there that will never buy an Apple product not because of your build quality but for this court room BS..

Another Explanation

I guess no one noticed that the release date was conveniently one day after Cyber Monday, making it impossible for anyone to get the phone in Amazon Wireless's inevitably awesome Cyber Monday sale. Yes, Verizon customers wanting a Note II will be sure to pay retail prices for theirs.

This makes it worth the wait!

Not network connectivity. Not processing power. Not software. Not build quality. Not materials or durability. North battery life. Not even the call quality matters as much as branding.

Verizon.

It would be nice.. :)

It would be nice if they'd make something like this with straight Android JB as the OS, none of that extra junk!
