Nokia 3100 / 3120
3120 screen flickers
Hi,
I recently got a new 3120 phone from Cingular and notice that the main screen flickers slightly (there is a left-to-right vertical 'wave'). It is not visible in a quick glance but if you look for it, you can see it.
I am wondering if this a common problem with 3120s or an issue limited to my handset.

GPRS problems with 3120
I have a 3120 that I got back in December. I have noticed that no matter where I am at the GPRS acts funny.
The GPRS indicator shows that I AM in a GPRS area, and then when I go to access the internet through the phone, it suddenly puts a slash through the "G" & says "GPRS on Hold". As soon as I clear out that screen, it IMMEDIATELY says "GPRS Active" again.
What gives???

Group Ring Tones
Anyone know if you can set different ringtones for different groups? I could with my 3595 but can't seem to figure out if I can on the 3120. The documentation seems to indicate that you can only flag groups that will make the phone ring

Timed Profile
Can someone explain to me how the Timed Porfiles are supposed to work?
Here's my setup/situation and I'm definitely missing something:
1 - I renamed one profile to WORK.
2 - I choose WORK as my profile for during the day.
3 - I want that profile to expire at 4:04pm. So I go into the settings and select WORK, Timed and set it to expire at 4:05pm. During the day it show WORK as a timed profile.
4 - Everything works fine, it expires at 4:05. But I was then expecting the phone to some type of default profile, but it still stays in WORK.
What am I missing? I want WORK to expire at 4:05 and then I want the phone to switch to say LOUD (profile) for example

Main screen time display
Anyone know if the time can be enabled to show on the main screen on this phone? I can't find mention of it in the manual but I checked the 6230 and that phone allows it. There's enough room at the top to show it so I don't know why it wouldn't be an option.
Is there an easier way to check the time other than going through setup or waiting for the screen saver to pop on?
Oh yeah, how long until Nokia puts out a seizure warning about the flashing goes along with the rhythm of the ringtone (and yes I know you can turn it off) 🙂
