I swear, ATT are such woosies!!!

Android software updates are suppose to be OTA. 700mhz LTE is PLENTY capable of handling the 150mb or whatever the file size is. I am so glad I left ATT 2yrs ago.

Love it!

I came to the Vivid from the BB Torch. The transition to Android was bumpy, but I had to drop the BB like a hot potato. Anyway, I do feel like I have to handle the Vivid gingerly, due to it's size and the back plate. It is all worth it. Speed, smoothness, brilliant screen, and the envy of all my friends. Worth it. And the camera is fantastic, both still and video!

Third party ROMs.

This would also help "hackers" develop customer ROMs/kernels for these phones right?

I appreciate how bold HTC is being in allowing full access to their phones.

is it a cell phone? Is this phonescoop?

"However, if you're not prone to actually using your phone to converse with people, this can be overlooked, especially since the zippy data speeds make it a great mobile internet device."

This isn't a cell phone it's a small tablet computer with a crumby phone attached. Come on now, really? What is going on with the cell phone industry? Are we supposed to carry two devices with us? one for surfing the web and another to call someone?

LTE Speeds

I recently got this phone at Best Buy Mobile, and have it in Indianapolis, Indiana. My data speed is pulling 24.8 down, 12.6 up...pretty impressive. The LTE network goes live in two days here...maybe it will get better.

I agree with the voice quality on phone calls, but it should get better if they ever open up LTE to voice calls not just data.

are you surprise??

Eric M. Zeman QUOTE: "It is weighty, dense, and has an odd, trapezoidal shape that gives it a curious appearance"

this is why i always try to buy Samsung phones cus their phones are slim and lightweight!
the lighter the phone, the more comfortable in hand!
the others is Heavy Thick Craps !
