Vibrate + High Question

How does the Vibrate + High Volume work?
Does it vibrate and ring simultaneously?
Or Does it vibrate then ring?
Thanks

PS. I know about double posting. I just wanted to make sure someone saw this post and both the 4500 and 4600 are similar in this regard or so I have heard.

Mobile Office Kit Quicklink Phone Book has a MAJOR BUG!

As you VX4600 owners know, you are allowed to create new "Groups" in your VX4600 phone book to assign your phone contacts to. HOWEVER, be aware that when you upload the information from your phone into your desktop Quicklink Phone book, it DOES NOT recognize the new Groups from you phone book. It only recognizes the original default groups, and assigns an 8 digit number in place of the Group. Also, if you add names to the phonebook using the desktop Quicklink phone book software, neither the new Groups nor the 8 digit number is available - only the original default Groups are available for assignment. I contacted the maker of the Quicklink phone book software (Smith-Micro), and told me that Verizon already has the latest software to correct ...

Phone Number Import/Export

I want a small, well-designed phone without a camera. This looks like it could work, but my other requirement is that I be able to import/export my contacts from my PC to/from my PHONE. Can I do this with this phone?

Thanks for the help.

Just ordered my 4600 today...

Should I be worried? It seems as though the majority of reviews are pretty good concerning this phone, however, I am now coming across some alarming information in this particular forum. I'm hoping the bugs you folks have been discussing may have been worked out, but I guess I'll have to find out the hard way when it arrives.

no longer available?

I switched from Sprint to Verizon this week and was told that the 4600 was no longer being sold and that none had shipped for 3 months. From some of these posts however, I see that people have gotten this phone recently. Is this a scam? Any thoughts?

Driving Mode on the 4600 ???

😳

Does the VX-4600 have a driving mode feature like some other phones? (ie, when using a headset, the phone should talk to me telling me I got an incoming call, etc.)?

Again: Sending Pix & Midi's to phone.

😢

Hi all!

This is a question already asked so many times, but believe it or not, I've still not seen yet a clear, simple answer:

How do I send ringers or pix to my phone?

I have the LG VX-4600, and following the info I got in many sites (attach a file to your email and send it to 10digit#@vzwpix.com) I got a message in my phone that it got a new file, and I should go to verizon's site to finish off the procedure. But nothing happens!

What do I do next?

Can somebody point me to a step-by-step instructions site for idiots? (not that I'm an idiot, but...)

Thanks in advanced for your replies!

4600 and 6000 use same cable?

I've currently got a VX6000, but my wife is looking into getting the VX4600. I was assuming that, since both are very simliar outside of the 6000 having the camera, that they'd be able to use the same data cable. But looking on ebay, I notice only one cable that says it supports the "4600 and 6000", and I'm not sure if I trust it. All of the rest of the cable on ebay are one or the other. Does anybody have any enlightenment on this? It'd be nice if we only had one cable for both of our phones.

Can data be transfered from Palm OS files?

I'm currently using a Kyocera 6035. Love the Palm OS, phone, functionality, extras, etc., but IT IS SUCH A BRICK!! Soooo, wanting to modernize, and HATING camera phones, the LG VX-4600 looks very appealing. Here's my question. Is it possible using the Office Kit and any type of software, be it proprietary or freeware or whatever to transfer my existing HUGE 340 entry address book data from my Kyocera/Palm desktop to a VX-4600? I just don't want the hassle of pecking into the phone all of that information. Also, is that little office kit really worth the money?

Voice Dials

How many voice dials does this support. Most phones have between 20 and 30. Frankly 50 would be ideal.

Available at WirelessZone???

Some people here have been saying that the VX4600 is available in person at WirelessZone stores. It's indeed listed on their website, but when I went to their Solomon Pond Mall mall location in Marlborough, MA they did not have it. They said it was Internet-only for everyone, because it was distributed and serviced through a third party. They also claimed no Verizon store or technician would service it, and any repair or exchange issues would have to be done by mail. Sounded kind of fishy to me, but you never know...

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

4600 vs. 4500

I'm trying to decide between the vx-4600 and the 4500, since they're both about the same price with current rebates. The phones seem pretty similar, except that you get a speaker phone with the 4500. Does anyone have further insight as to why to get one over the over?

LG 4600 Question...Answer/end w/headset

Does anyone know if the LG 4600 has the answer/end feature?

I'm looking at the Jabra Earwave Boom with the answer/end button and want to know if this feature will work with the 4600?

I've heard it might work with the flip open but I was hoping it would work with the flip closed this way I can keep it in the holster.

LG couldn't tell me, they said they would have to get back to me and it would take a week.

Thanks
