LG G4050

Every time I try and download a graphic, it goes to my animation folder instead of my picture folder. Therefore, I can't select it as a wallpaper. I am unaware of any way to move it, and I can't send it in a multimedia message. Has anyone experienced this, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Does anybody know if you can get parts for the LG 4050?? I have a damaged phone that needs a new screen.

has anyone else had problems with dropped calls on the 4050 on cingular? I can have full signal, drop signal, and then i have to power the phone off/on before i can get any signal....it's sooooo annoying! I was just seeing if anyone else besides me has this problem.

can someone please tell me their opinion of the overall performance of the 4050? as in "everything"...signal, features, etc...

Anyone care to join/start a petition to Cingular on this phone? Like support for Data Kits, etc?

I've gotten the same story from LG that Cingular needs to provide this information, but have not had any luck yet. I've even had rep(s) tell me they would call me when it comes in.

We can all go to petitiononline.com and have someone write up a very nice, diplomatic letter to Cingular as to our displeasure with the support for a phone that you can only get through Cingular...

I work for an ISP, so I have a free dialup account (yay) but unfortunately am on call every few weeks (boo). So, I like to keep a laptop on me with a cell phone that is data enabled.
My cingular contract is up at the end of January, and I've been with them for 2 years, with an Ericsson R278d. (In NY, also). Thinking of upgrading to a new phone and switching over to the GSM network from the TDMA. My wife wants a Motorola T720. I've chosen this phone as mine, but no stores carry it yet.
My question is: does this support data? The info tab here says "supports fax". Looking at the user's manual on LG's site, looks like there's an infrared port, and you can communicate with a PC via a standard Irda port. (Which can ...

The G4050 has caught my eye but how is the RF side of things? Any user experience yet? I saw a dummy today and near the antenna there looks like a small plugged hole? Is this an external antenna connection point? Looks too small to me. Andy

Does anyone know of a serial cable which will fit this phone? Need one for the 4010 as well.

Anyone had any luck transfering backgrounds or ringtones via the Infrared port? I've been able to get a connection but when I try to transfer anything the 4050 "actively refuses" it.

Has anyone run across a Belt Clip, non swivel type, for the G4050? Not interested in anything Universal.

I know this is a relatively new product, so there may not be a lot of G4050 specific accessories on the market yet.

Does anyone have Speed Dial SLot #2 Error?
Is it an error or is it suppose to be that way?
Whenever I save a number in that slot and use it.. the # disappears and says its empty..
Please Help!
