Hi, Just like to know how do u permanently disable your own number sending feature on the V600.

Eh...I jus compared and the motorola destroyed it...but you know, it never comments on the QUALITY of the picture or the RECEPTION etc...I currently have Audiovox 8900, Quality sucks unless the person can stand still..heh..but Anyway, Im going to TMobile monday, which one should i get?

last night there was a blackout in the town i was in, and pretty much all the power was out. for some reason when i tried calling someone last night (even with a good amount of reception) it kept saying call failed. could the be related to the power out somehow? is it possible that the towers (i use cingular) the phone runs on are affected by this or is it a messed up phone that i have

I have a 15" powerbook with bluetooth, im pretty familiar with it since i've synced my SE T637 but I want to pair my cousins V600 as well so he can enter all his phone #'s faster.

Anyhow, I've paired the phone and my laptop but the phone only stays connected to my laptop for a short ammount of time and when I go to isnyc and add device nothing shows up. the phones bluetooth icon stays on for about 3-30 seconds and then goes out.

any suggestions?

I have tried for the last two hours to get my tungsten T3 to send SMS through my v600. I keep getting an error. I can dial through my Tungsten T3, but I cannot send SMS messages. Could someone please assist me?

if i wanna download from my computer to my phone do i have to get the software with the cable or just the cable?? 😲

are those really pictures taken by the v600? If so, that is REALLY impressive. If not, are there any other pictures on the internet taken by the v600?

Does anyone know how I can tell if my V600 is unlocked? Please let me know!!

I've had no problems at all with my Jabra FreeSpeak 250 headset working with my v600. But now that I also wanted to download pics from the phone, I purchased and installed a D-Link Bluetooth adapter for my laptops. I have both PC and Mac OS X laptops, which are supported by the D-Link adapter.

Both laptops refuse to establish a file transfer service with the v600. The only connection I can make via the adapter is to the headset service, which is the only service I don't need -- I've got that already with the Jabra.

Any hints as to what I might need to do to get the D-Link adapter to work correctly with the v600?

I took a photo and hit the discard button. Is there a way to retrieve a photo from the phone once it is dicarded.

In the office tools menu there is a selection called dialing services. Under that heading there are three choices, one of which is quick dial. Can anyone tell me what these are for and how they are activated? The manual is VERY vague on their operation. It does say that they are carrier dependent. Does Cingular support these services? I'm waiting for T-Mobile to carry just ONE good new phone and while I want the MPx220 or 300, seeing how long it's taking them to just get this phone, I figure the MPx's will never see day light here.

So, I have this question: Can I put my OWN MP3's on the device for a ringtone? I know you can download from their website MP3's, but I want my own edited ones. Since there's no card, I guess I could transfer via Bluetooth or USB cable, right?

Has anyone tried making two simultaneious connections to the phone via Bluetooth? Meaning your headset is on AND you try to send data from your PDA to the phone at the same time.

Will the personalized rings come through on the head set, or does the phone ring like it does when a wired headset is plugged in?

When a wired headset is in, the phone rings as per normal, nothing comes through the headset.

Any users out there with a HS820? It seems to be the newer BT headset from Motorola, and it has longer talk time than the HS810, which everybody seems to love.

There are 4 pretty big differences between the 810 and 820: a) talk time (5 vs 6 hrs on the 820), b) BT 1.2 on the 820 vs 1.1 on the 810, c) appearance (both look good to me) and price.

That's the one I don't understand. Why is the HS820 $80 vs $100 for the HS810?

Is there any advantage to buying one of these from an AT&T/Cingular wireless store or from a cell phone generic shop? Amazon's at $50, and one of the google advertisements is at $0. Is there a catch to the latter? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if the SNN5683 battery is the only battery compatabile with the v600? Has anyone tried the SNN5704?
