BlackBerry Curve 8530

i want to buy used cell phones

I have an 8530 from another carrier. How do I activate the phone if it is not Virgin Mobile branded and i have the device? Can I, or do I need to buy the Virgin Mobile one? Thanks.

I recently got a Curve 8530 from Sprint. I never had any problems with my old Curve. (until I dropped it too many times, coincidence maybe?) At first it worked great, but after a month or two it started cutting out and dropping EVERY call made or received. After complaining to Sprint several times, they offered me a free AirRave. Now my phone works great at home, but this doesn't solve the problem anywhere else around town. Today I found out a nearby friend with an 8530 has the SAME problems. This makes me think my phone is not an isolated case, and there must be some signal/compatibility issue in my nearest tower/switch. What can I do about this? Can I make Sprint take this phone back and give me something else? I love my Blackberry for its...

att blackberrys have a website you can goto and set you your email up on or change your device and add or remove emails from your blackberry phone ... does sprint blackberrys have this option ??

Is this the best you can do... The tour sucked so your comeback is a cheaply made blackberry ???? I heard this phone was made for people looking for a cheap $100 phone... 2.0 megpixel camera, really !!! Trust me you are way better of getting the 8330 curve. I hated the cheaply built tour, and thought the curve was made more solid, and better keyboard... So I returned the tour and got the hero.... Until sprint gives us a real blackberry im sticking with my hero, and curve as a back-up....

When are they going to fix the call log where you can erase all prior calls instead of only being able to do it one at a time.

How is the web browser, can you zoom and use links? Does this phone support other browsers like Opera?

Hello All I have the Blackberry Curve 8530. I Had the Samsung Rant with had and Played all my video mail. And kept online albums. Where do you find online albums on the Blackberry Curve 8530? Is there a special thing I must do to get this phone to play the Video mail straight on the Sprint Website as I cant Find the online albums. Every Time I try to Play or Download I get and Error Message "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" Please Help Me Out As I might Have to Go Back. Thanks

Work is allowing me to get a new phone. This phone will be used mainly for email, phone calls, and web browsing. The the BB curve good for this or is there a better phone.

My wife really wants the 8530 in purple. And I was going to get it for her for xmas if it was available, but all sprint is showing online is the 8530 in black. Doea anyone know when they will be getting the 8530 in purple? Please advise.

Anyone know if the 8530 is the same as the 8520? Want to get aftermarket parts for it and I've heard conflicting reports in whether there are minor differences in size, etc. between the two.

I've had this phone for a little more than a week. When I'm using the phone and another call comes in, the call waiting displays shows the current call and not the one ringing in. Does anyone else have that problem? Is it a bug or should I return for a new phone?
