Panasonic GD55 / A100

ive recently got a panasonic gd55 as a "stand in" fone whilst i wait for a new one, however every time someone texts or rings me the name does not appear. does anyone know how i could change this so the names appear on the screen. also does anyone know where i can get an instruction booklet from

Anyone know if the Panasonic GD55 will work on the new Cingular network. The fon is not yet signed on w/ Cingular it would be unlocked. i didn't see what kind of SIM it took. A cust called in, i wasn't able to provide a definite yes or no. just wondering if anyone knows
