PC Sync

I'm considering buying this phone from Verizon. Phone Scoop doesn't show that it has the ability to do a PC Sync, but LG says that it does. Has anyone had any success sync'ing this phone with MS Outlook? How well does it work? Am I better off spending the extra money for a Motorola T730?

Face display id

I've seen it reported in several places that you can set the face (outer) display so that callers of your choice will flash unique colors when the phone rings. Can't for the life of me find it in the manual nor on the phone. Anyone know how?

FLASH DEMO

Hey guys, need alittle imput. My contract with att is up and i am headed to my local verizon store this weekend to switch carriers. my phone of choice is the lg 4400b ( since i don't need a camera phone ). here's my question, on verizons website they list all of the phones they sell, and each of those phones has a flash demo feature which is more like an intuitive "how to" book for that particular phone... but since vzw has removed the 4400 from it's web site, I can't find a way to access the "flash demo" feature to help me learn how to use the new phone. Does anyone out there have a "link' or web address to help me get back to the flash demo feature. i;ve already been to the Lg website, no luck there. hope someone can help me out. ...

44OOB

hello all... I'm about to switch my service over to verizon within the coming week and am very strongly considering the lg 4400b phone. But i could use some advice... first of all, I have only owned 1 nokia phone for the past 5 years ( an old nokia 6160 on att service ) I'd like to know if LG phones are good or are they lower level phones. specifically what do you think about the lg 4400b. I don't want a camera phone, so i thought this particular phone would fit the bill. but i really need to know if the 4400b is a "good' phone with regard to reception and audio quality... also, have any of you ever head that flip phones don't work as well as non flip phones? Just something my wife said she heard at work, but it seems more and more peopl...

Ahh- why is there NO SOUND?!!

So, I was all ready to get the Audiovox CDM8900, but the Verizon sales rep convinced me to get the 4400 instead because he claimed that it's "the most reliable phone in the industry." Flash forward a few hours, and here I am with a phone that refuses to make any noise. This includes ringing, key beeps, message recieved signals, and also any verbal communication with callers (incoming or outgoing). At first I thought I'd just accidently activated Silence All mode, but I have switched it back and still there is nothing. If anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful, the idea of spending another hour hanging around a Verizon store waiting for service does not appeal to me. 😡

Vib & High Volume Option

What is the intended use for the volume setting VIB & HIGH? It only seems to vibrate for me when on that setting. I was given to believe the the phone would vibrate and play the ring tone on high. Not true?

Ring issue/ question

I'm having a problem w/the ring options. I've selected certain ring tones (different ones for caller id, -vs- no id, etc) and the phone ALWAYS vibrates first. I've selected the "normal ring manner" on the side of the phone too... What am i overlooking? Has anyone else had this challenge? JvMaska 🙄

lgs vx-4400b vs. vx-4500, or neither?

i'm trying to decide between two lg phones, the vx-4400b, and the vx-4500 which is supposed to be released at the end of the month. my main goal is to have a phone and service with clarity and quality. i like gadgets and features, but i don't particularly want a camera phone. the main difference i see between these two phones is the 4500 has a speaker-phone, and the 4400 is tri-mode. i live and spend most of my time in new york metro area, but i do some traveling to secluded parts of new england in the summers. how important is it to have tri-mode? and does anyone have any other suggestions on which phone i should get? i'm switching from sprint to verizon.

Phone Switching to "Car Kit" Mode

My VX4400 just started switching to car kit mode for some unexplained reason. This makes the speaker inaudible. Then it'll switch back to vibrate mode for whatever reason.

I can still use the phone with an earpiece, but it doesn't work sometimes regularly. It's still under warranty so I'm going to have it checked out.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the phone will be swapped out or if a software upgrade will fix this.

VX 4400b missing scheduled alert / alarm time?

Was wondering if anyone had these problems? Last weeks scheduled times were not alerted. Checked time, date and on / off status of alarm. A re-program has proved sucessful, but don't know if it will continue.
