Which is best for Music? Impression, Xenon or Eternity?

I'm considering either the Impression, Xenon, or Eternity. I will be new to texting but I am also a huge music fan.

Xenon:
max microsd memory is 16GB
has an equalizer
No 3.55mm wired headphone adapter - must go bluetooth

Eternity:
max microsd memory is 8GB
has an equalizer
3.5mm jack built in

Impression:
max microsd memory is 8GB
No equalizer?
3.5mm adapter is available

I'm concerned about the Impression's music features. Does anyone have any good feedback on the Impression's music features?

Does not read contacts on SIM

One problem that I have found on this phone is that the phone does not read the contact list off of the SIM in normal use. In order for the phone to read your contacts, you must copy them to the phone when you boot up the phone the first time. If you tell the phone not to copy the contacts, it will not read them from the SIM and does not allow you to copy them at a later time. You have to take your SIM out, put in another SIM, boot up the phone, shut it down, then put the customer's SIM back in for it to ask you to copy the contacts from the SIM into the phone. People who like to keep their contacts on their SIM and have the phone read them from the SIM cannot do this on the Impression.

AT&T Navigator?

AT&T does not talk about the Navigator in the features section for this phone. Is it available? Has anyone used the GPS ?

QUICK QUESTION!

Is it possible to be on AIM, MSN, and YAHOO messenger simultaneously? I can't figure out how to be on more than one at a time. My brother's lg xenon can go on all 3 at the same time so I thought for sure my impression could.

Software Glitches - Lacking Security Lock Feature

Overall very impressive phone. I've noticed some glitches specifically with the messaging application. I have two impressions and they are both doing the same thing. The messaging application is slow to launch. Messages some times get hung and/or will not send until the offending message is deleted and reconstructed. I've even had particular key sequences that have totally locked the phone down and required a battery out restart.

I do not like that you cannot set an overall lock that re-engages when the keyboard locks rather you must lock particular programs only. the phone will lock upon power on but will not lock again overall. Sucks for hiding saucy text messages or pics. In this mode when you attempt to place a call to a number...

Very nice phone

In response to the review. I have had the phone for only 3 short days and my comments are this: I agree that the lock/ unlock button on the side is one of the downsides of this phone, although you can also unlock it by simply sliding it open. I also agree that the call volume can be a bit louder, something I have noticed this common with Samsung phones. Coming off of a Motorola V3xx which is LOUD this phone is not as loud but certainly NOT too low.
Another thing to be careful of is that is you do not have an Internet package it is much too easy to go on line inadvertently. Keep that in mind.
One last comment, I have to disagree with the reviewers comments on the display. This phone is the first in the USA with the AMOLED display. At least...

Word Docs

Is there the ability to open (and edit) Word docs? I'm unsure by the review. Also is it possible to set up multiple e-mail accounts, simiilar to a typical "smartphone"

Rich Brome & Eric Zeman!!!

Great Review! One suggestion with messaging devices so popular these days is there a way for you guys to post if a device has "Threaded Messaging"? This not only is a great feature for a messaging device but adds to both usability and the"Flare" of a new device...

isn't this an AMOLED screen or did that change from pre-release?

so close, voicedial?

I love options, there is no shortage here. Whatever your preferred input method its got it. Keypad, touchscreen, and touch keypad.

Except one feature I used on my Vu.

Voicedial (speaker independent preferred) doesn't seem to be present. A little tough when calling going down the road. I plan on remedying this by buying a bluetooth headset that has voicedial.

Impressive features...except....

It is only HSDPA 3.6. With the latest news about ATT upgrading to 14.4 and even to 21mbps, you'd think they'd starting rolling out 7.2Mbps cellphones.

I guess not.
