BlackBerry Storm 9530

How good is the music and video player? Maybe not top notch IPhone, but comparable? Also, can I move files easily from Limewire? or would you suggest another source? Thanks in advance!

Can someone please tell me how to download the App store to my Storm. I called verizon cust service and they told me to go the download button and all I have there is Espn. Can someone help me?

Does anyone have the same issue I am having ever since I have been doing the s/w upgrades on the storm such as .90 now.103 when sending a picture message or forward a message it sends a grey or block box when the image should be. can anyone help me out with this issue?

I just recently got my Storm.. I tried to record a video, when I went to play it I got an error message saying "The media being played is of an unsupported format". Can anyone help me with this?

Well its been awhile since the release of .75. Why should I have to wait so long for a great working phone. It appears that Verizon could absolutely care less about supporting this phone with new updates, even though RIM has leaked several.

Bottom line: I don't want a phone that Verizon is looking the other way on.

Anybody out there that feels like me?

remember to update at ur own risk!! i didnt get a chance to update my storm yet.. maybe ill try this one.. as soon as i format my computer.. LOL! just gotta back up some files..computer crashed on Monday, lucky i wasnt updating yet..whew!

I"m just curious on the different kinds of applications. Trying to decide if the storm is best for me. I have the glyde right now and absolutely hate it! (touch screen doesnt work half the time ☹️ ).

You guys will love this... i had the blackberry rep and yes i did press him on several things, new os, new storm, new niagra..... and the new pearl flip. i think if he is still in town I'm going to take him out for a couple of bears and try to pry more info out.

here we go real soon... official os coming damn soon but i don't think your gunna want to know the os v.! also, leaked os not coming out cause someone got fired for leaking them, and Niagara is not touch but still pimp! its a cross between the look of a storm, bold and thinner than a curve. as far as the new storm that one is where the bear and liquor will have to come in.

anybody know how to have the ability to download more then 2.9 MB for a email attachment? I have scoured long and hard and have found nothing!! 😢 i really want to do this cause i get wmv's and what not that are lil bigger then that.

anyone else tired of hearing its comming just wait it can only get better itll be out soon when it comes to a phone that was supposed to be amazing and turned into a flop. i mean yes u can add all these leaked os's to ur phone to make it work better and everything but why in the world should we have to? so my storm is gone rim and verizon have let me down and im sure more then a few of you too. so i have sold my storm on ebay let it be someone elses nightmare of a phone i dont need it. whats the point of having the largest 3g coverage area if ur on a phone that lags might aswel be on a 2g phone that doesnt lag ull get the same results so good bye storm hopefully the storm 2 wont suck but regardless i wont be buying it. oh boy wifi like evero...

Does anyone know of an app to download so your screen lights up when you get a text?

Some time ago, somebody in this forum mentioned that after 60 days of owning a Storm, Verizon, upon request, unlocks its GSM bands so that the phone can be used overseas with European SIMM cards. I went to the store today and was told by several salesmen that it's absolutely untrue.

Any good up-to-date info on this? Thanks.

I downloaded the weatherbug app and it says you need to get blackberry maps. Wtf is that? I tried to download that and it wouldn't let me - gave me some retarded message saying I can't. Anyone know how this works or how to get this installed?

Welp, just got done talking to my source in VZW and guess what?! this summer or early fall we will be seeing a new storm with wifi... amongst other things.... i dont have total specs on it but, just wanted to give you guys heads up. 😢

anyone know of an installer that may have gotten thrown together for installing a leaked OS? i wanna try .122 but don't have a whole lot of time or patience.

Sigh. The economy got me brothers. My storm is now hardlined. So depressing. So hurtful. So embarrassing; can't participate in the newness of updates. Whats worse, I got such a funky attitude from the financial services dude that made it worse.

Yet, I carry my storm around as a reminder of the good times we shared.

I'm currently running .114 hybrid v1 and have desktop software 4.7. I downloaded and installed Bell's .122 software. I deleted the vendor file. When I try to run the update from either the apploader or the desktop software, it doesn't find the update and offers me only .75 (hell no) or .65 (no chance in hell). What am I doing wrong? Help please!

hey so i just installed the AlienBerry theme from crackberry. it's a really cool theme but it seems that some of my applications won't show up. i have games on my storm that won't show up now. my VZW Tones app won't either. umm....reason? anyone know? anyone know how to get em to who up again?
