DELVE

pointless, its not a smartphone, yet you have to have a smartchoice plan

so y pay $300 for a non smartphone and be forced to have a smartchoice plan, when you can have a HTC Diamond for $50 more with full blown internet?

I DONT GET IT!!!!

ps(im talking about with alltel service)

IT HAS ARRIVED

So, I work with US Cellular and now that its public knowledge that the Delve is one of the latest phones from Samsung with the newest Touch Wiz interface...and US Cellular has it...I guess it would be ok for me to place some info on it.

We got our demo phone up and running today so I spent some time getting to know it. Overall, it worked beautifully. A few insites are as follows:

To start, the Delve offers a large, clear, and brilliant 3 in touch screen. Response to touch was great. Next to that was the Widget bar on the home screen. Much like your desktop, the widget bar houses "short cut" icons. If you use the calender a lot, move the icon from the bar to the main screen...anywhere on the screen...for easy access. When your done with...

OK OK...I READ IT WRONG

๐Ÿ˜ฒ Wow...people really get upset on this thing. I take back what I said about Phonescoop. It did not say when the carriers would get it...but what I am still suprised about is that Phonescoop has no mention on US Cellular getting it. In my view, reading what was lited on the news breif about the Delve, US Cellular should have at least been mentioned. And I know about the GSM Touch Wiz phone to! Its GSM and ONLY works with GSM. The US hardly has GSM, mostly CDMA and PCS. So I do have my facts right, you just have to read what I'm saysing. The Delve is the first CDMA phone of its kind to make it into the US with Samsungs latest Touch Wiz interface... ๐Ÿคจ

I AGREE...FALSE INFO

Altel was not the first carrier to get the Delve. In retrospect, US CELLULAR is a smaller carrier so is not in the news much like Sprint, Verison, or Altel but that should not mean its ignored all together. So just to clear up any confusion, US CELLULAR was the first to get this phone...and to boot is selling it for less than Altel. Though I cant disclose the price, what US CELLULAR is offering for the Delve far beats Altel...and its the same phone. There is hardly and differences between the two. So, if you want to save some money yet not sacrifice service, stop by your nearest US CELLULAR office if you have one and ask about the new Delve. I'm sure you'll be surprised....The Delve boasts a large 3 inch touch screen, Samsung's newest T...

PHONE SCOOP....GET THE RIGHT INFO

I don't know who at phonescoop got the info that Altel was the first to get the new Samsung Delve but that info is incorrect. US Cellular was the first carrier to snatch this phone up. I work the for company and by saying Altel was the first makes me feel like US Cellular is being ignored and discredited. I'm happy to be with US Cellular and am proud we were able to be the ones to have first access to this latest phone from Samsung. So, please phonescoop...get your facts straight.

WE HAVE IT!!! USCC

We just got the delve today and I must say it is a sweet phone. The new touch wiz tech is amazing. Not quite iphone touch status but still sweet! It feels sweet in my hands. the qwerty in landscape mode rocks! And the widgets are sweet! It will be a fast and consistent seller no doubt!

Incorrect Info USCC is the first

USCC will launch the Delve on Nov 4. And Alltel on Nov 6. Sansung said that USCC will get the Touchwiz UI first. So I dont understand how phonescoop is getting its info.
