How do you say for example find nearest homedepot using your iphone gps? I think I was hoping for more than I got with this gps.

I wanted to know if anyone has knowledge of a .tif viewer or an app that can concert them for viewing.

For those of you that are sorely looking for an IM client for the iPhone, Palringo just release a version of its client for the iPhone. It works pretty well, but is limited by the iPhone inability to run more than one application simultaniously.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I had posted a few negative comments on the new iPhone 3G. Speaking only for myself, I must make a correction.

The vast majority of my problems were do to USER ERROR. I'd turned some things off I shouldn't have and wasn't understanding some of the direction on the use of my new Jawbone.

So, now, for me anyway, it's moved up in owner satisfaction.

Ok so I have been reading that the 3g iphone cant be unlocked and when it is unlocked it locks right back up when you sync it. So if this is the case wouldnt all the people that are payin over a $1000 for the phone be dumb because it cant be unlocked????

Yesterday made it the 5th time my screen went black after being idle....the phone is on b/c it rings....but no matter what I do the screen stays black....I have to put it on a charger several times or slide it off (which is fun since u cant see the screen) for it to stop...anyone else having this issue? And yes...the battery is fully charged, and no my phone has not been dropped or exposed to long periods of heat or anything of that nature.

Does anyone know if the new 3G supports sync via Bluetooth, or still just via USB? Even ancient Nokias that I tossed out years ago could do this no problem.

i have tries to restore my iphone software through itunes but after about 10 incoming text messages the alert sound just won't go off anymore......anyone having this problem?

should i just take it to the apple genius bar and have them replace it?
