Apple iPhone 3G

im just wondering who is using a iphone 3g on their COU 😳 👀

I've got 5 bars in G3 showing.I keep getting server stopped responding messages all day today. Last time I was able to connect was at 9:45 this morning. Cant get any mail or connect to the internet.

What's up with At&t's iphone servers?!

My iphone constantly keeps on dropping calls and when using Bluetooth there is a big echo .

So they offered to replaced the phone . Did anyone had the same issues which got resolved with the replaced phone.

I bought the Iphone on Saturday, so I'm still learning this puppy. Hopefully someone out there can help me with these two questions:
1. I've seen others posting about having email on the Iphone. I've noticed the Microsoft Exchange, MoileMe, etc. Does this cost to start an account?
2. I'm trying to download ringtones from the internet. Is this do-able with the Iphone?

I posted this originally on the Apple forums, and they immediately took it down. (This is the 2nd time a post of mine was removed from the Apple forums. I had previously posted a heartfelt complaint and question about iTunes, received a response, thanked the person who was trying to help me, and stopped subscribing to the message. A while later I was informed that my thread was taken down because it had turned into a rant, and suggested that I had framed my original posts in a way that made the rant more likely. Both times Apple has taken down my threads, I received a "make the most out of iTunes" and a "make the most out of your iPhone by getting apps" emails. Freaky.)

I WAS WONDER CAN YOU USE YAHOO MESSENGER ON THE NEW IPHONE?AND IF SO HOW DO I GET IT?

How is reception of the 3gb in the princeton nj area. There seems to be lots of issues with the 3g reception discussion at apple new groups .

People can compare the current iPhone to the Instinct. At surface value, the Instinct seems to hold its own.

Any opinions, guys? Which is better? Both are dockable and I believe the same price?

I've had my iphone for over a week now. (It has version 2.0.1 system) I have to say I'm extremely please with it. The battery life is easily lasts all day once you condition it which I did right away. I haven't had any freezes or problems with the applications. And I've found it so easily syncs with my mac computer. The auido is a little soft with my hearing aids but it's livable as I use the phone more the internet, messaging and email. Just have to say its been a great experience so with this phone so far!

had a problem with not having a signal with the iphone, I just got new iphone and I went to this bar with some friends that I have always had a signal with any other phone that I had with at&t, in fact my friends had there phones with them and they all had a good signal, they had a moto KRZR K1 att branded and a Nokia something also att branded and my iphone said no servie the hole night. I returned it for a new one since it was only a week old and they gave my another brand new one in the box and we went back this weekend and the same thing. I had no service and they all did, and it is not just at that bar, it has happened at my house to. side by side with there phones with a good signal and my with no service.

What is going on here? Why is this one of the only phones out there that doesn't have video capture. I thought I'd find something in the App store by now. With such a great screen and nice camera, I don't understand.

Can anyone recommend decent case for the phone , which will provide protection in case it's dropped.

Will anyone recommend getting the apple care or no ?
Any suggestions to increase the battery life will work also.

So I got me an 3g iphone because I love its browser so much that Im willing to deal with its bad 3g signal.I just thought Id post the results of me testing my old Samsung Sync and new 3G iphone in field test mode. The Sync registered between -89 to -97 in 3G signal in my house and the iphone registered between -99 to -113 in the same spot in my house in field test mode for 3g, both phone registered almost identical EDGE signal, between -80 to -90. The Sync is not exactly a reception monster so its pretty obvious something is up with the iphones 3G chip or software. I just hope there is a software fix and I hope its coming soon. I pretty much leave my phone set to edge only and wifi, EDGE aint that fast but it sure is alot more reliable for n...

Ok. Well I just got my iPhone a few days ago and everything has been working smoothly....except the visual voicemail. Whenever I click on the voicemail option or dial "1" my phone calls my voicemail like a regular phone would, and I don't have the whole menu where I can see my voicemals and stuff. Do you know how this could b fixed?

Like it says...........I d/loaded an app and it sux. How do you uninstall an app?

I am thinking of waiting until December to terminate my agreement with VZW and sign on with ATT to get the new IPHONE. I have 2 choices: Get the LG Dare and stick with VZW or get the IPHONE in Dec. I have heard many mixed things about this phone. Also, on the ATT Data Plan, the $70 plan allows 5000 night and weekend minutes. Is it possible to go over 5000 minutes? That seems like a lot. What would or have you people done? Has anyone else made this decision one way or another? Also, if it matters, I live in central NJ.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated!

Currently have Alltel, but may soon work for AT&T Corp, so here goes:
Will a user still be able to operate the Nav function while NOT on a 3G signal? I'm basically curious what functionality is lost (not simply slowed) whole not picking up 3G.
