Contacts from Outlook

Is there a way to transfer contacts from Outlook to the V750?

Thanks

Adventure V750 Keypad

I recently bought a V750 and upon close inspection of the interior keypad I noticed some small strange indentions above the right soft key. They're not very deep or noticeable but I just wondered, is this normal or just a manufacturing defect?

HELP -PTT button light

Looks like there is a light on the PTT button but it does not seem to light up. Can't find anything in the manual that discusses it.

Backlight

I have 2 Moto adventures and the backlight will dim and stay dim (unless go to the brightness steetings) at random times. This does this on both phones so I know I don't have just one "defective" phone. Anyone else with this issue?? Thanks.

Good phone, but man, it's ugly

I've been reading positive reviews here, and went to check out an Adventure as a possible replacement to this garbage Boulder.

It sounds good, and I love how the buttons feel -- but it's ugly as hell. I also wish that PTT button wasn't on the side. (Too bad they don't make a non-PTT version, kind of like Boulder did a non-camera one?)

Still, it's looking like my only option right now.

Read Boulder disappointment thread on VZ forum

Main Verizon forum (under Carriers) has a discussion about the Boulder. Actually, a couple. I posted the following there, and I wish someone at Verizon would read it, pass it on, and fix my issues:

"I am on Day 3 with this phone and I am extremely skeptical. I bought it because it finally seemed like they had made a G'zOne model that wasn't insanely bulky, but now I feel like a beta tester learning massive flaws with a product that was perhaps rushed to market.

1. The battery life is silly. It's like they're saying: "Be adventurous and outdoorsy! (but remain very close to a power source)" Yesterday I made very few calls and dropped quickly to half-power. My LG VX8300 kept power much, much, much longer than this.

2. The ringtone prob...

Small pictures on browser

I am trying to view weather radar maps on my phone. The picture of the radar is so small you can hardly see it. Is there a way to increase the size of the radar in the browser?

Text entry ... predictive Word like LG VX8300?

What kind of text entry does this phone offer? I got really accustomed to the auto-learning Word feature on the 8300, which would not only learn words without having to awkwardly switch back to ABC (like the T9 installed on this Boulder), but you could type just a couple letters and then cycle through your options of larger words.

The T9 on the Boulder seems outdated. "Teaching" it words is tedious, and you have to spell out long words (or email addresses) entirely.

Worth it if you have no plans using PTT?

I will never use PTT. I am sending my Boulder back within the next few weeks (within my month replacement window) because it's garbage. It's also PTT.

I'm getting a lot of recs for the Adventure, but is it worth it if I'll never use this feature?

Information needed

Hi GrumBag! I read your review on this phone, and I have a few questions if you could answer them for me. What color is the backlight on the keypad, is it white ir blue? And is it pretty bright in a dim light? Also, are the ringers pretty loud? I hope this phone is as rugged as they claim. And how is the reception on it? This phone looks pretty awesome, considering it is a rugged phone, compared to the Gzone or any of Verizon's rugged type phones. Thanks a million for any info!
