BlackBerry Curve 8330

Does anyone know if the Sprint Curve will allow a WMV or streaming content such as streamimg radio or video. That is the only drawback I have with Yhe Pearl. I used to be able to listen live to NPR and other stations, however, the Pearl doesn't have the capability. Any thoughts or info is appreciated. Thank You!!

I need help! I was trying to download BubblePopper (the free version) from Crackberry.com and I have it saved on my CPU, but I don't have a clue as to how to get it from the CPU to the phone . . .and my CPU won't sync w/my phone, I am going to try it again b/c I got frustrated w/it and logged off . . .can someone help me please?

I wanted to know which program I needed to sync my BB with my Mac. I have a MacBook Air and I downloaded PocketMac for free from the BlackBerry website but it's not working properly. Is there another program that I need? Thanks

I currently own a Treo 700P and am trying to decide between the new Treo 800 or a BB Curve.

My main requirement is being able to sync my calendar / contacts / memos from BOTH my work Outlook and my Home Outlook. I am not planning on using a Blackberry server to have work things pushed to me, I simply want to be able to sync both machines and the "smartphone". I can currently do this with Treo 700 so I assume I will be able to with Treo 800.

My question is - will I be able to do this with BB Curve?

If there are any other TREO converts, I would appreciate any other input you might have on helping this decision.

I just got my Blackberry Curve with sprint via a upgrade the other day and I was wanting to send a picture to my friend. I went to the pictures and then scrolled down the menu it said nothing about sending a picture to a contact, I could only send one via email, blackberry messanger, or AIM messanger. Can someone help me out and tell me how to send a picture to a contact. Thanks

Can we chg the ringtones for the diff notifications? For example, can I assign a ringer to my texts? If so, how do I do this . . .and yes everyone, I finally got my Curve . . .the red one! I love it!

Is there supposed to be an icon on the Verizon Curve that lets me add notes or a memo? If so, I cannot seem to find it. If not, is there a program I can download to let me make notes or a to do list? Thanks.

Does anyone know how well the 8330 works with Sage ACT 2007? I'd like to be able to dock and upload my calender, contacts etc.

when i send an email i get it as a received email as well. this is annoying. how do i stop it?

is there any way to get rid of the message "this has been sent from a verizon blackberry device" when you send an email? this is relly annoying, i dont want people to know i can read there email instantly.

Don't let the age fool you, I'm a very knowledgeable kiddo who's halfway through his senior year in high school! My old screen name used to be Sprint_2007 but its a new year, have to update the profile! I'm currently a Marketing Sales Rep for Sprint, but love learning anything and everything I can to make my overall job quality Superb =D


Now I see why Sprint is losing customers and hemorrhaging, they hire children. No other wireless carrier does this.

Does any Curve owners here have any issues with their phone auto pairing with their car bluetooth?? I just got a Kenwood DNX8120 Navigation etc and my Curve wouldnt auto pair! So I returned it and now wondering if maybe it was just that phone I had??? I exhanged my curve for a LG Voyager ehhh regretting my decision!

I don't know of there is a cure for this, but sometimes you will hear a phone number that is actually a word, like 877-CALL-DON. Obviously, you cannot enter that on the phone, because the letters will not correspond to numbers, as on a regular phone. Is there a downloadable software program that will let you enter the word and provide you with the corresponding numeric keys? Anyone have a solution for this?

Im thinking about upgrading to the curve.. however verizon wont let you upgrade to the curve unless you take their additional 30 dollar a month data/message plan (which i dont need). Is there a way around this? For example.. activating it with the data plan they force you to take, then switching your service back to an old phone, switching your plan back to a basic plan, then callling them to reactivate the blackberry again so you can use the blackberry, but without the additional 30 dollar a month data/message plan? There has to be a way around it.... Thanks

OK I searched through the forum looking for the differences between both browsers and have not really seen anything substantial. What I am reading is that Opera is faster and that's about it. I have downloaded Opera Mini and used it for several days and I do not see any real difference between the browsers. Maybe I am missing something but can someone please explain the differences or greatness of keeping Opera Mini vs the BB browser? If I am missing something and I am not using it to it's fullest capability I would greatly appreciate someone advising me on these functions.

Does anyone know how my phone knows it's in the belt clip and if you can't turn that function off. Ask if you need more details.

What's the best format for watching movies on the curve? I thought the curve played .avi files but apparently it doesn't. When I convert them to to .mp4 formats, the video is really tiny taking up only about half the screen in the middle. Has anyone been able to get around this and watch full screen, or at least almost full screen video? Thanks!

anyone know of a way to get on of these phones via Alltel, I am a new customer less than thirty days old and i really want one?

Hopefully someone can help me with these problems. First of all, sometimes I don't receive text messages or I receive them a few min after they were sent. Also when my friend that has Tmobile service sends me lenghthy texts I'll receive the last part of the text first and then the first part.

With emails, I hardly ever receive them when they are sent. Sometimes I'll get them 10 min later or it could take up to 2 hours. I use a hotmail account if that makes a difference. I know the 1st email I ever received was on time, everything since is delayed. I believe all my settings are correct for my phone.
