Google Sync installation

Anyone have luck installing Google Sync (for calendar) on the 8120?

I've had it on my old pearl and even on my curve.

When I tried to install it on my new 8120, I get a warning that tells me it can't be installed because it's not "secure"???

Anyone have luck getting it installed? any idea how to do it?

Thanks

Wifi with Suncom

I cannot get the wifi feature to work properly. I can connect to my wifi connection but when I do, it breaks my internet connection, as it, I have to unplug my router for 10 secs and plug it back in for it to work at again. So I had to turn off wifi on the phone so it wouldn't mess up my internet connection anymore. Then when I do get it working again, it won't use that connection, always uses EDGE. I'll try some hot spots at work tomorrow but I am having no luck with the wifi feature at all.

Blackberry data plans-AT&T

Two questions:
1. If I get a new Pearl 8120, do I have to get a Blackberry plan added to my plan? Or can I just get the phone?

2. What are the rates for ATT's Blackberry data plans?

Thanks so much!!!

Only being sold online till May???

So I had the itch big time to go get this phone on Monday (3/31/0๐Ÿ˜Ž. I've been a more-than-satisfied 8100, 8310 user. I went to my local ATT corp. store to pick one up, and the manager there said it's only going to be available on the ATT website, and not in stores, till May. I'll buy it online if that's true, but I'd much rather buy it @ my local store in case I change my mind or need to exchange it for some reason. Someone tell me this dude just doesn't know what he's talking about.

What do you think of the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 AT&T Customers?

Customers who have AT&T, what do you think of the newest update of the BlackBerry Pearl? My Nokia phone died a month or two ago and I have been without a phone since. I am considering purchasing this phone and am wondering what you all think of it. I would appreciate any positive and negative feedback with this phone.

T-Mobile

Does anyone have an update to when T-Mobile will be getting in this new Pearl 8120? When you call T-Mobile they have not even heard of it.

hot-swappable memory card?

๐Ÿคจ

What is a "hot-swappable" memory card, as opposed to just the regular memory card? Does that mean that you don't have to re-format it when you put it into other phones that aren't blackberry?

Any comments on the Pearl 8120 media player?

I own a Pearl 8120 and my media player is awful. I can only play individual selections (on way to play the entire folder) and then I'm only able to play the first 4 minutes of any selection before it cuts off. I've downloaded the latest handset software and updated the Desktop Manager but received no improvement. Is this just a problem with my phone, or are others experiencing the same problems? โ˜น๏ธ

Cool...

I really liked my Pearl 8100 and this looks pretty good as well.

I'm assuming since this is with SunCom then Tmo will be getting this very soon...

WiFi with vid recorder I will be looking for this one I wonder if the LED flash will be better than the 8100 and if this also uses UMA as I didn't see it on the specs sheet?
