how do i get mp3s from my computer onto the Verizon Branded 8130
i was wondering how i would get mp3s onto my Verizon branded 8130 can i add right from itunes or do i somehow have to go through Blackberry Desktop Manager any help please and i do have a memory card if that helps
Ok...so, we all know that Sprint's version does not have MMS. Ok...that's fine, i've gotten around that by sending the pics as emails. I haven't had any problem with sending them to att customers at @mms.att.net and no problems sending to sprint phones at @PM.sprint.com...however, i can NOT seem to get my phone to send them to VZW! I'm using the @vzwpix.com to send them, and i can send them just fine as an email from my work email or any other email address from an actual computer, but when i try to do it from my phone (i have an @sprint.blackberry.net email for my phone), i instantly get this message back: MMSC NDR Administrator Undeliverable MEssage. Message could not be delivered to mobile. Error: Wap encoding error.
I've been having a problem with one of my email accounts. It downloads all my emails off the account on to my pearl..but it does it multiple times. I only have 30 emails on the account but I end up having 60 by the time my phone is done downloading. Any idea what is going on?
I just got a Verizon Pearl 8130 and installed the 4.3 Intellisync package, but it doesn't see my Outlook 2007 (calendar or address book) and only gives me the option to sync via Yahoo or an ASCII text file...
And so are many customers, from the 5-10 calls i get a day about this phone... its SO slow, the camera sucks, the trackball feels as if it will fall off at any moment.... just my personal opinion. It's starting to get irritating working for the best company with a horrible choice of phones... I packaged my pearl up and sent it back today....
hacks or workarounds for Verizon subscribers to get apps
we all know the story about Verizon; as a VZW wireless subscriber, one is obligated to their choices from GPS/navigation, to ringtones, to games, wallpaper, personal productivity tools, and any other cool stuff.
I just started my 30-day trial with my first BB. Got the pink Pearl and while falling in love with it when ordering, I ended up completely forgetting about VZW's aggravating tactic to pigeonhole users into using only their product choice and always with a not so insignificant cost attached.
Nevertheless, I know many of you are much smarter than I am and hope...no pray...that someone has figured workarounds for those of us who own this phone and are Verizon Wireless subscribers.
If all else fails, I suppose I could go back... (continues)
I am currently looking at this phone, the palm centro and razr2 v9m... i like the blackberry, but it doesnt do picture/video messaging. i like the centro, but i've heard touchscreens aren't that great, and no flash on camera, and i like the razr 2 but it costs a bit more and there's no flash on the camera. can anyone let me know of a way to get around the lack of picture/video messaging for the blackberry pearl from Sprint? if so my choice is blackberry, if not i have no clue which one to get. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
a friend of mine is thinking about getting this phone and wants to know if you can program it to use the mls there are some phones that you can but i havent found anything on htis one yet maybe because its new
