BlackBerry Pearl 8130

I've researched it so much I am even more confused than when I started looking. I believe I get an employee discount through verizon and maybe sprint, %20 but not sure. Are there any differences you think I should know about? Plan difference? Problems?

Can anyone with Verizon help me out? I want to get this phone. My contract is up in July but I don't want to wait till then.

My birthday is coming up and I have had my eye on this phone and because I text like crazy I want something a little more exciting and a keyboard. I have owned Nokia's Samsung and Motorola's I need something new! I heard it is complicated at first but it gets better. So basically I want to know what everyones opinion is. Should I get this phone? How does everybody feel about it?

hi guys...I am looking to upgrade my sammy 970....As I recently started ebay, I need a phone that can check EBAY full pages, check google email for ebay notifications, ANSWER questions from EBAYS site...and of course, have a great camera I can take pics for reference at a clients house so I can research( close ups also)..

I went to the verizon store, and you know what that is like....so I figured I'd ask you experts..I want to shy away from WM...and the verizon guys are telling me thats the ONLY way to see an HTML webpage....WMPro....can anyone help me in this regard?....thank you...

Is there a way to set your camera to save pictures on the memory card, instead of the memory device? if so how do you do that?

Is anyone having trouble with the bluetooth "UN" enabling itself on their pearl?
I have had to exchange my pearl 3x already and the unit is still "un"enabling itself intermittently.

Does the verizon version of the pearl send MMS all i see is to send as an email and send as blackberry messenger. ive been told yes and no by cust service. just want a correct answer.

At least twice a day all my text messages and call log deletes itself. I even had to get a replacement because it kept happening and blackberry support and the sprint tech people didn't know how to fix it. It keeps doing it even though on my text options it's set to keep the texts "forever" and to keep the last "50 items." Can anyone help me????

how can i set up my text msg differently?
like have a ringtone to it
or even a different sound to it
my co worker has one but a sprint and thought she could change it but couldn't

Hi, please advise. I had a T mobile pearl and we switched to Verizon and I got another pearl. Can I use my blackberry desktop to restore my phone book, calender, etc? I don't want to screw up my new phone. Is the software the same? Thanks for any help 🙂

I have a Verizon Blackberry Pearl that keeps receiving old emails that I have deleted off of my phone. They keep showing up as new messages weeks later. I have email reconciliation turned off. Other people do not have this problem.

I was going to upgrade my phone to the blackberry pearl at VZW. The sales person told me that I will need to get a Blackberry data plan because the phone continuously connects to the internet to update stuff, even if you don't connect to it yourself. Can someone tell me if this is true?

There was a previous owner to my BB. When I try and setup my email it says an account already exists fro the current pin and esn. How do I go about setting up email, and I guess deleting that old account (probably from the previous user

I got my Pearl for work (Sprint) and have a lot of data stored in PDF format that I need to keep handy. Is there a way to get the phone to view PDF files that are stored on the storage card? If so is there a particular folder they have to be placed in to be accessible?

is there any one on this form that has a BB 8130 with Verizon that has data totally blocked? now i know that verizon and rim have an agreement that you have to add a data package. i was told by a rep over the phone that she blocked the data on my line but i just found out that she only blocked my vcast music. thanks in advanced for any help 🙂
