Sharp Sidekick LX 2007

ok i am using a sidekick 3 right now and want to change no matter what within the next month....i was looking at the lx and saw its beautifulness..HAHA yea and its looks really mnice and all but the thing that bothers me is the mp3's that you can't play as ringtones.. there is no other phone to get. i dont want the curve because my twin bro has it and i was looking at the wing? is the wing or sklx better? HELP!ASAP!

Are you able to increase the font size on this phone? I like checking my messages in the middle of the night and don't want to hunt down my glasses and put them on to check it out.

Why did they make a SKLX in the shade of doo doo brown? That is so ugly! The blue one is ok. I hope they make this available in 2 other colors like a silver/gray and maybe gold.

Will it be able to record videos?

I'm 99% sure the answer is no ... but does anyone have any idea if the Sidekick LX can be used as a laptop cellular modem? I can't help think that with the USB data cable this could somehow work, although I suspect because of how it communicates with/through the Danger servers maybe not ... any ideas?

I came this close to getting a Sidekick 3. But when I realized that my Nokia 5300 had a better music player, I stopped myself. I didn't like the fact that the Sidekick 3 used MiniSD and not Micro, and that it was MP3 only, since I use AAC instead.

So my question is, will the LX use the same old gross MP3 format, or do something like the 5300 and support multiple formats?

First of this is not the sidekick 4. Sidekicks are updated every 2 years and the Sidekick 3 has only been out for one year. Number two danger and t mobile would like to have multiple Danger devices to generate more business. For example the sidekick id was made for people who are only interested in messaging and nothing more and plus make it affordable. The new LX is just as expensive because it is upgrading the sidekick 3 but is not the sidekick 4. The LX was to keep the Sidekick line up fresh and another option for people who are looking for better features such as bigger screen display, 3.5MM headphone jack and much more. The Slide will also be coming soon as another device. Both LX or the Slide are considered to be the SK4.
