Does this phone....

My husband just bought me the new Nokia 6263. Although we both work in the wireless industry, we have no idea about this phone![He works for Alltel and I for AT&T]. Does the Nokia let you use your MP3 songs as a ringtone? If anyone knows, PLEASE let me know! I cant find any good ringtones on t-mobile and I dont want to sign up for Jamster or a site like it. Thanks!! 😁

Internet Sharing?

I currently have a T-Mobile Dash and I am able to connect it to my laptop to surf around on the internet. I was wondering if that is possible with this phone? If so, how do I make it happen? Thanks. 😉

Ear piece

Perhaps it is just my phone, but does the ear piece on this phone just downright blow? It is very tinny sounding. Anyone else's like this?

Font Colors

Is there a way to change the colors of the time and date and stuff on the main display and the mini display cause black isn't really working out with my wallpaper

Not too sure about this phone....

I really dunno what to do, but I have 23 more days to decide. After that it's too late to return this phone back.

I hate the way T-Mobile cripples the firmware, this phone has some very annoying habbits thanks to T-Mobile and so far there is no way to unbrand it, and as far as I can tell, there might never be a way. Why does T-Mobile have to dumb down an otherwise cool phone?

I got this phone cuz my unbranded 6133 died, but I'm thinking I might just get that repaired and return this phone for now.

Any ideas or suggestions?

3rd party apps

Does anyone know if you can have data access from 3rd party apps on this? such as google maps or opera mini? I know they disabled the ability on the 6133. You were able to download and install but not allowed to retrieve data.
Thanks

NO ALARM?

I read on here there is no alarm? Is this true or is it a typo? I dint look any further lol so just wondering if anyone can just let me know. I have the 6133 just got it yesterday and its good so far.I GOT IT FREE TOO!! LOL.. I am just getting use to T-mobile because I just signed yesterday. I have a few concerns and I am a little bit nervous because I changed..lol..I still use my Verizon phone because I refuse to pay the cancellation fee. I am on my family's plan and I will take advantage of the free talking between the family till my contract is up.

If there is no alarm I wont switch it. How could they make a phone with no alarm? lol..Since I am still trying out my 6133 and I know some of you have upgraded from this phone does anybody ...

FYI: US-only 3G phone

The phone is listed as WCDMA 1700 / WCDMA 2100. This is kind of correct, but not really. 👀
T-Mobile US's 3G network band is Band IV (four) which is spaced out so much that it uses two bands (1700MHz and 2100MHz), but this is not the same as saying it can work on 2100MHz, known as Band I (one) and used in Asia and Europe. This phone only works on 3G in the US.

Looks like 6133

This looks a lot like the 6133 that I used to have, except no flip button. Seems interesting, if mildly.
