Hello Everyone. I work for a Contruction Company and we have about 50 phones most motorolas but when they get lost or broken they have been sending me the LGCU515. I normally use Motorola Phone Tools and now need a program that I can do the same with for the LG. Can anyone recommend something?
On my old CU500, I could add personalized ringtones. I could take music and cut it down, add it to my memory card and it would show up in the list of music and then I could assign it as a ringtone.
The CU515 doesn't seem to carry that option. The music and ringtones are now listed separately and I can't seem to find a way to get my ringtones over to the list of ringtones already included with the phone.
Does this mean that the only ringtones we can use are downloaded ringtones?
can I Bluetooth rings tones and Pic to my friends?
I have the cu500 and love it but I'm due for a upgrade and heard that some of the newer phones are not allowing bluetooth to other phones any more and was just wanting to know if the cu515 will still allow me to do that. I like to able to send and receive ringtones, wallpapers and pictures 😕 Thanks to anyone who can answer my ?
help needed please. is there a way to change the external screen "picture"? we would like it to display the time/date feature, like it shows on the user guide. we are unable to figure out how to do it. can't find any info in the book or by going thru the phone options. it might be there, somewhere, but we can't find it. our phone only shows this picture that looks like a "water damaged" screen. the phone isn't even 2 weeks old yet. thanks in advance for any help!
I am looking at the LG CU515 and the reviews have been favorable, but I can't find information as to whether or not the phone has contact ring tones, where you can set a different ring tone per person. I love this feature so I am looking for a phone that has this option.
I've had my LG cu515 for several months now and for the most part I'm really happy with it. Here are my questions:
1. When I am listening to the MP3 of my phone and then decide to make a phone call, I can not get pick up where I left off. Is that just the way it is made, or is there something I can do to make it happen?
2. Another question is basically how do I connect my Jabra 125 bluetooth to my LG cu515 phone so I can listen to my phone's MP3 player. My phone works great for phone calls but I'd like to use my Jabra 125 w/ my MP3 player but it doesn't seem to work. In contacting the Jabra people and was told I needed a phone w/ A2DP. I went to an A2DP site and the LG cu515 was not listed, however on the LG cu515 site under specs it l... (continues)
I just got the CU515 yesterday, and am in the usual address-book hell trying to update / input all my contact info (last phone died, so AT&T had a hard time pulling info off it, and somehow managed to get millions of old numbers along with it..).
Anyway, when storing to the SIM, how do I designate what "type" the number is.. cell, home, work, etc..? (It looks like it gives you this option when storing to the phone, though, but not the SIM).
Is it better to store numbers to the SIM or the phone?
I had the CU500 for a short time. It was a great phone except for that stupid ding sound it made every time you would do something, like delete a file. There was no way to turn it off unless it was on silent mode. That's why I got rid of that phone. Does the CU515 have that same annoying sound? I hope not. I have the Nokia 6555. I love this phone, but the battery life is so horrible that I am thinking on getting another phone and I need one that has PTT and the CU515 has all the features I need. Thanks for any help.
Hey all, posted similar question under the Nokia 6555, but comparing these 2 phones and possibly Krazr model. Like these 2 because of the large bright screens and ability to subscribe to PTT (push to talk) within our family plan if we want to. Both the 6555 Nokia and the CU 515 list PTT, but don't know anyone that's tried it.
Not big into texting or surfing, only occasionally, but want good quality phone, good reception (live in wooded area) and the PTT option. Any advice??
QUOTE "The phone has a problem when putting someone on hold while getting another call and when toggling between calls the phone freezes and crashes." Has any other owners other ther warlos(reviewer) had this problem?
Has anyone had an LG phone to last more than a year? I have had 2 CU400's and I am on my third CG300. My wife is on her second CG225. I like LG phones but am starting to wonder???????????? PS. We started out contract in Sept,06 . Not trying to be smart, just wondering. Thanks, Paul
