Bluetooth / File Sharing? Help?

I had a motorola until today and while I am very happy with this phone, I cannot seem to send my old ring tones to it? I got these from other people's phones or my computer via bluetooth, which should work with all AT&T phones I thought, but I cannot get even any files from my computer to share with it. Does the phone just not have this capability?

Please respond if you know anything.

Current sprint customer with questions

Ok i know currently this phone is not a sprint phone. I am wondering two things. The 1st to which I am guessing may not be possible and which would be the more costly option to me is getting this phone if its possible to use it with sprint even though its a AT&T phone. So call that question #1 is it possible to use this phone with sprint?

Question #2. I currently have a family plan 550 anytime (daytime) minutes and have two phones on the plan. My unlimited nights and weekends start at 7pm. I also have a bonus of 50 minutes. Pay no roaming or long distance charges (aka can call to anywhere from anywhere coast to coast like i was calling from home to my next door neighbor). Unlimited mobile to mobile to sprint customers. From there things l...

Buy a TMobile BB 8320 to use on ATT

Has anyone done that? I want the 8320 because it has WiFi, not sure what ATT is thinking getting the lesser model 8310 while TMobile is selling the 8320 at the same time.

I am just concerned about all the ATT specific settings to send text msgs and stuff.

Thanks.

Browser

So how is the browser on the Curve? I used a Pearl for a day and the browser was painfully slow, but email messaging was awesome. I have a Blackjack 2 and can say the opposite...browser is awesome, messaging could use a lot of work. I realize the BJ2 is a 3G phone and the Pearl wasn't, but even with EDGE the browser shouldn't be too bad.

Curve 8310 or Pearl 8100

I'm a 14 year old girl in Canada
Rogers wireless offers the pearl 8100 and the curve 8310
I know all about them but I'm still not sure which one is better for my needs
I would just like to hear some input from experts

microSD card for the Curve

What is the largest microSD card the Curve will support. I love converting my DVDs to the Blackberry but don't know how big of a card it will support.

Whatszup with these carriers

I'm getting really annoyed by these f****** carriers playing the customers around.Take this phone, it doesnt have wifi. The t-mobile version 8320 doesnt have camera and gps. And 8820 does not have camera. Why dont they have all the features in the phone , why are they disabling the features and fooling around with the people? Isnt there someone who can put a lawsuit against these carriers? Blackberry supposedly built the phone with all the features ,its the carrier disabling the features. 😈

Too Business?? Worth it??? AGE?

Hello Im just getting my first phone so I'm not very experienced in the decision making process but I'm considering the curve 8130.

I was just wondering if people who own the phone think 14 is too young to have it, that if I were to get a blackberry I should go with a pearl or none at all

Or if people think the phone and the QWERTY keyboard and applications aren't all that useful and kind of a waste

And if for someone who is currently just in high school, the phone is too, businesss like and old

Any suggestions?
Also, if anyone has anything to share about blackberries and phones please let me know 🙂

Thank You

BB 83xx Curve Release Date

Can anyone confirm rumors that AT&T will release a Curve variant with GPS/WiFi/3G in the March to May 2008 timeframe? I have also heard rumors of BB 9000. Will this BB be released by AT&T?

Curve 8310 vs. Pearl 8100 (ATT customer)??

Hey all, posted a short note in the pearl forum also, but wanted to try here to get perspective of Curve users.

Currently have the Pearl, my first BB or any 'smartphone' for that matter. Always had flip phones, but have some need for calendar and email on the go with new sales job, and like the movie times for personal use!

Anyway, here's my question - Other then GPS which not sure if I'd subscribe to, and the full keyboard, is there other advantages? For ex. my Pearl has been locking up coupld times a week, sometimes after a charge and sometimes in middle of an application, like updating ringtones. Is this a BB thing, or would the Curve be less likely to lock up, different operating system at all? Have to pull batt out to reset, ...

A2DP with Curve 8310 (music via bluetooth)

The Curve supports A2DP, but for some reason, when my Motorola H681 (2.0) is paired, my music plays through the speakerphone on the phone, not the bluetooth headset.

Any ideas why?

Any DUST yet?

Looking for anyone experiencing dust in the screen area similar to the problems with dust on the 8300. It usually gets in on the right side just above the volume buttons and spreads across. Has this been fixed on the 8310??
