2.5 jack

Does this have a 2.5 jack? I have been told it does, but the video review and the pictures don't show one. I want to know.

Sidekick vs Duo

Here is the deal. The DUO will not compare to a blackberry, iphone, or tilt. The duo is meant and aimed more towards the texting crowd. To get the Duo at the minimum price the user must have at least a text package if not a pda package. Teh duo is not going to replace someone's blackberry b/c the blackberry is a far superior device when it comes to business. The Duo is perfect for the younger market, the same market that uses the sidekick. It is smaller and the fact it slides both up and sideways to reveal the two different kinds of key boards is sick. It has a newer Windows mobile operating system on it and the first device Pantech is releasing to try and compete with the bigger more estabilished manufacturers. They are trying to cr...

Feels like a toy

I was so totally looking forward to this phone. I might have bought it if I never held one in my hand. Feels like a cheap, plastic toy. One of the things that attracted me to my current phone (Samsung Sync) is how solid it feels. I don't think the Ocean is nearly as lightweight and rinky-dink feeling as the Duo. ☚ī¸

Sound muffled?

Does the ear piece sound muffled when people talk to you?

To me it seems the sound is not very clear at all on this phone. Disappointing.

The first Duo I bought yesterday was horrible, i exchanged it today and the 2nd Duo I got sounds much better but the sound still isn't clear.

over in the "Video Tour: Pantech Duo" discussion:

Dig a little deeper

There IS a camera icon, it's just not on the main Start menu. I believe it's in Applications or such.

I guess no Wi-Fi....

Too bad, Wi-Fi would be nice so you need not use up minutes or have to buy a data plan if you are so inclined.

In looking at Phone Scoop it had a dash where Wi-Fi is, which to me indicates it is missing.

At&t Smackdown

Is it just me or does it seem as though At&t is launching a new device every other day?

At&t keep killin' 'em. Guess that's why they're "the leader in wireless"!!

Bought one!

I went down to my local store and bought the last one. One thing that was weird to me was at first I thought I couldn't transfer pictures via bluetooth from phone to phone, but you can. There is a setting called "Beam" that you have to enable to receive files from other bluetooth devices.

I'll post my thoughts more in depth once I get a few days use out of it. 🙂
